Action Figure My Dutch custom

Finally started putting together a Dutch custom. I've been scavenging parts off eBay for the past year. I've got the final parts in route. Here's what I have so far.....


I wanted to use the Heroik body, but thought the neck was too wide. I wound up using a Hot Toys True Type.....

I cut the neck down, so the head would sit lower. And that was a mistake. The rubber keeps getting out of shape when you turn the head now. =(
(The head looks really yellow!)

The Heroik body I'm saving for a Road Pig custom. =) So it'll get used.

If you get the real Hot Toys Dutch head, it will probably match the body better.

This one I got for $25 shipped. Haven't seen a cheap HT version. But, yes, I agree.

He's fractionally darker than the KP, but it's a non-issue.

That said, Keenan, I think you're done. A great nod to "Mark Dorkness." You should leave him just like this:

Also, as a note about the head not fitting the other body properly- I think this Dutch head is slightly undersized. I put the True Type head on the Heroik body and it looked fine.

Honestly, the HT head was small. So a recast is gonna be even smaller. Another reason to pick up the original.

Great work on the paint, but the forearms are too skinny to be The Oak in the 80's.
