LOTR 1/6 line is looking pretty sad right now

The Darklord knows all by up 2 Frodos and a Sam to complete the fellowship.
Not looking good. We only need three characters to complete the Fellowship. Come on sideshow, don't let us loyal fans down.

As for NO 1/6th figures at SDCC, the game is up... The writing is on the wall... The die is cast... blah, blah, blah...
I started early and already have a Toybiz/DiD Gimli custom in the works.
The missing hobbits will have to be custom made as well. Planning on using the Frodo/Sam bodies and perhaps having the Merry & Pip headsculpts done by a hired sculptor.
There's just no freakin' way that I'm going to have an incomplete "Fellowship Nine" in 1/6th scale.

Is there ANY LOTR items on display at Sideshow's booth???
Just the balrog vs Gandalf dio.
Doesn't bode well for the entire license. You would think that they would be at least showing the latest pre-orders such as the Moria Orc PF, Galadriel PF, and the Theoden/Grima dio. Not to mention the Eagle vs Fell beast, which was just a picture on display at last year's SDCC.
