I've held off of every statue and figure(aside from Play Arts) waiting for the ******ing HT, lol... this is so tempting though.

They're really pissing me off. At this point, if that thing doesn't include alternate gauntlets, boots, and belts for Asylum, every gadget he used in the game, an LED lit "detective mode" head, alternate faces, and an extra Bruce Wayne head, I'm jumping on a plane to Hong Kong and forcing Howard to do it.:lol With that being said, I did get the Collector's Edition with the Koto statue, so, if this was in scale with that one, it'd be pretty neat to have them both on each end, with the Hot Toys in between. I doubt I'll be getting this, though.

My ArtFX+ Flash, which is in a standing pose is around 7.5". A crouching Batman ArtFX+ "statue" is going to be tiny :lol

It does look cool though.

Looks great so far. Will wait to see the completed piece. Just so I'm clear...this will be PVC and 1/6 scale correct?

If it's ArtFX+, then it's not 1/6. I think it's 1/10 or something. Standing ArtFX+ Flash is around 7.5". So whatever that scale is :D

Thanks Lawrence. I guess I'll just wait to see the finished product. I do like what I see so far.

No, the Batman of the collection Lawrence is talking about, is actually standing still. This is the one:

Which is based upon this promo art by Jim Lee. The idea was to form a set that looked like this:

They used that image by Jim Lee to promote the New 52 universe before the relaunch, and Wonder Woman's preliminary design had long pants. Nobody liked it, and they changed it. She went back to briefs before issue #1.

Kotobukiya started this series of 1:10 statue (7.5 inches) based upon this art, which is the reason they made the Wonder Woman with long pants.

That's the reason that got me to NOT collect them, because I'd liked a lot better to have a faithful representation on how the characters look in the comics, not in just some promo art. So, I only got the Superman one.

Nevertheless, the line was successful, and they decided to continue releasing more characters after that initial line-up was completed. Deathstroke, Catwoman, Shazam, and Black Adam are being released next.

The statue in this thread, is a different statue, that doesn't belong in this line. It DOES come under the "ArtFX" label, which is confusing, but doesn't belong to this collection because the Batman in this collection was already released.

Also, the "Superman For Tomorrow" statue, and the "Man of Steel Superman" statue announced by Kotobukiya, are also being released under the ArtFX label, despite not following the same theme and being a different scale as those others based on the New 52 looks. They are even of diffeent materials. The New 52 ones, are PVC, while the "Man of Steel" and "For Tomorrow" Superman ones, are resin.

I'm confused as well as to what line this belongs to, I get it doesn't fit in with the PVC artfx line, but is this just a random koto resin statue of batman?

Peeps, the ArtFX+ & ArtFX lines are different. ArtFX+ (as this "statue" is labelled) are 1/10, & the ArtFX statues are 1/6.

You can even see how small this Batman "statue" is, since it is also pictured with the little Black Adam "statue".

I wonder if Scale wise, this would be the same like the collectors edition? Is the the collectors edition statue 1/10 scale?

But why this pose again??? I think It's the same one that comes with the game right??

oh well. I think there's more details to it, and let's hope to see more characters.
