This is the best pred but with the worst mask. I bought the custom helmet and altered it.

hey friend you've made molds of the mask .... great idea
so you can have many variations. these mask broken ... I think you should add smaller details. with cutter
and painting a little dirty in the broken area
I acknowledge that the paint on my mask I offer terminated. much can be improved
someone else are encouraged to repaint?

What can you do to the dreads? They fall right back no matter what you do to them?

why the dread mod of course.

well after much deliberation and self doubt, I finally went ahead and did the dread mod and I am very happy with the results!

thankyou A-dev and Rzeznikk for the tips!

If you mean the dreadlocks mod myself and Rzeznikk have done, I didn't take any in progress pics.

But its pretty much an 'exactly like it says on the tin' kind of thing.

-Pull the dreadlocks out - in stages. I started from the front, worked backwards, and did only so many at once as I believed I could keep track of. I laid them out on a flat surface in an arrangement which mirrored their location on the Predator's head.

*note* not all of the dreadlocks will come out cleanly. Some will tear leaving a stump inside the hole on the head. I didn't consider this a disaster. Just make sure you pull on the dreads as close to the root as you can get so that any tears will be hidden near the predator's skull or inside the holes.

-Now notice how the dreads are all curved, how on the figure this curve makes all the dreads flow backwards behind the shoulders. The simple remedy to this is to turn them around so that curve now makes them flow forwards. Just drip some glue in the holes on the head and put the dreads back on with this in mind. Every now and then stop and put the biomask on the figure so you can see what it will look like.

-By repositioning the dreads on the side of the head to flow forwards you may notice that it looks like you're creating empty spaces or bald patches. So you probably will have to adjust all the dreads accordingly to fill in these spaces.

I imagine this mod would work to best effect for those of you who have customised your biomasks or bought custom ones. Although I'm happy with my dread-mod that big bulky mask prevents mine from looking quite right.

Wrap a rubber band or two around the dreads and head to hold them closer to the head.

Then boil a kettle

Pour the kettle water into a measuring jug

Drop the head in for a few seconds. Litterally a few seconds!

Take it out and run it under cold water

Stick the head on something and leave it for 24 hours or so

The dreads should hang more naturally and closer to the head then. It can be reversed by heating them once again and allowing them to "spring" back out over time. Originally I tried hair dryer method and running it under hot water tap but after about a week the dreds wre back t normal! Saw in one of P!tu's videos on his site, him dropping the head of the Lost Pred into some boiling water for a couple of seconds and thought would try it. Haven't had to fart about with them since so it worked for me! This was ages ago, about a month after its release or something.

Others have more drastic methods which involve removing the dreds. With a little searching you should be able to find the mod. I can't remember who did it though...

Either way, the boiling method worked best for me!

EDIT: Just saw Biojex's post about the other dred mod so now you can do which ever you want!

Im not cutting and glueing that thing. The hot water method is easy, Ill do it at my car wash washing machine today. It will take 10 seconds to do everything there. Anyone want textured masks that fit let me know. PM. Thanks for the info guys

Here are a few more pics of my P1 with the taylerdurdem bio on. I added a little blood to the face, and he is checking out his newest trophy.
