Help with War Machine's forearm machine guns!

Hey everyone, I'm just wondering if this positively snap into place or you just place them on the pegs and then swing the covers over so it is just touching. Mine have never seemed to have fit right and just wondering if anyone can help me out.

Whatever you do, don't force them. I didn't realise they just rested on the arm and tried to 'click' them I to place. Ended up ripping the little posts away from the glue that keeps them in place.

I know what you mean...I tried forcing it in before I thought "you know what...this isn't going to work and I probably should give it up before I break it"

thing is the hinges are really loose and they keep falling out, ****!
