I just recently bought myself a new headset that would be usable on my Xbox360, PS3 and PC. The headset is Turtle Beach Earforce dpx21.

It works just fine on my systems, but for some reason it gives interference when I record audio. I did a video, all footage shot and such, and now I'm trying to add the audio to it. You can hear me fairly well, but you can also hear the static as well. I could finish the video like this, but would rather have clean audio.

I use Cyberlink Power Director 7 for my video editing software. Also original audio from video sounds fine, just the recorded one.....also voice messages through xbox sounds good as well.

So all and all, is there a way to get rid of the static so that I can record some clean audio through my PC? It does good through the cheapo "sound recorder" program that windows has always come with.
