David Warner RIP

Ah no. One of my favorite all time actors (especially as a bad guy) has passed. From The Omen to Straw Dogs to Time After Time to Time Bandits to Tron to of all things Titanic. Plus the staggering amount of voice work he did. A staggering career. RIP.

Oh no...

He was in everything at one time. Forgotten movie but he made a great Jack the Ripper in Time After Time.

Its sad to see these actors go, that's for sure. At the very least, their work will live on. They don't have actors like David Warner any more.

I think of David Warner as unique among the big names, because there always seemed to be something of the hangdog about him.

The characteristic leant itself perfectly to the role of Hauptmann Kiesel in Cross of Iron, which left a lasting impression so came to my mind before any of his other roles.
