Hey there im looking for suggestions for some very strong sculpting material I have sculptey but it seems to just crumble, im after something that is very strong

Very odd behavior from the Sculpey, is it old? Left unwrapped for a while?

I use Super Sculpey, Sculpey 3, Chavant clay when working in smaller scales and WED clay when I work on large scale.

If your looking for a stronger material maybe try wax? There is a brand called CX5, which starts off as hard as plastic until softened, then it acts like clay till it cools hard again like plastic.

Sculpey is great, particularly the grey one, but yes, it can be brittle.

I use sculpey for heads as it is perfect for that. For accessories, I use Fimo Puppen. It remains slightly bendable, particularly is you overcook it a little. For example, you can make pieces of armor with it, and they won't break.

Aves epoxies sculpt dries rich hard and is sandable in 24hours. 4 hour work time.
