Anyone know how to fix this?

So I recently purchased the Terminator 1 Premium Format, and noticed his back leg doesn't touch the base when the figure is inserted all the way into the base:



I noticed if I push down on the leg, I can get it to touch the base, but it just reverts back as soon as I let go. If I apply heat with a hair dryer, will this fix it? If so, where should I be heating?
