December Christmas custom comp?

Yeah, I was thinking either Holiday or at least Winter themed for the next one. I'd love to see one of these every 3 months or so if there's enough interest and we can get some of the retailers to sponsor it. I sadly can't put up the prize each time

I have a feeling that if I did do a holiday custom, it would come out gory anyway.

Maybe if a small enterance fee was charged the money collected could purchase a prize or be given as a gift certificate. Something like 10.00?

Sure. Heres a better shot. I'm using super sculpty and its hard because it ba lls up when your trying to blend it. I have some tools but am mostly I'm using my fingers to blend and a rubber tipped carving tool. There's no way I can finish tonight because I have to do the Trick or Treating thing tonight. But when I do finish it and I will share him, it just won't be for this contest this time.

I still have a lot of work to do, thanks for the kind comments.

that's actually not bad you might wantto pick up the cheep set they sell at bicks for carving on stone. they sell the metal picks (I recoment it helps for clearing out hard to reach areas after firing for cleaning)

and carving tools se that have attached rovings( I think that's what their called) they have a lot of different tips their 2 sided and the kit cost 12 bucks.

Yeah I'm going to buy some dental tools I saw on ebay for sculpting to finish my Jeepers Creepers since I have more time. I did buy a set a few months ago but I dont know what happened to them

what im talking about is made by a company called hawsks item # 39250( I think the last 2 are rubbed off.

its a picks,carvers and spatula metal set of 12 for 12bucks. you only need one pick save your money and buy this kit.

that's not bad that's a 1.00 each.each carver has two ends so it's like 24 tools in one kit.

Winter/Christmas theme sounds cool.
