The Italians have dropped in quality so much since the last WC, it's not even funny. They were playing terrible in their friendlies leading up to the WC and it looks like it will continue that way. The penalty was soft, but really, you'd expect to see those given. The refereeing at this WC has been ____.

Not surprised to see Brazil win. Yeah, the goal should have been disallowed since it was a handball, but the Brazilians were the better team on the day, and were deserving of the win. I'm guessing if the handball happened to a team like... oh, let's say Australia, the player would have gotten a red card and the goal disallowed.

If you are wondering who the guys in the old peoples home are, they are Terry Venables and Graham Taylor, and they used be England Managers. The Scottish guy who comes in at the end is Kenny Dalglish (probably Scotland's best ever player)
