I'd be wary of using those images in previous posts as colour reference- the Mattel suit does reflect the colour seen on screen but in reality is quite different. All the other photos have also been manipulated/corrected to the 'screen' blue and the costume on the stand is a fake...

Erick Sosa is better artist, I think, than Arnie Kim. I´ll get the HT anyway as I am a fan of the late Reeve, but Sosas´s is a truly inspired masterpiece. and that knowing that Sosa is not happy with it yet.

Hey if he does a better one with a different expression, I'll probably get that too. Reeve's superman was a childhood hero and I want to get the best sculpt I can. Though again this one is great and I have no complaints.

Yeah the sculpt looks great, the outfit is good, but the body is not working at all to my eyes - this is where I guess Hot Toys would really add value with their take, I'm guessing this headsculpt would rival anything HT offers.

The body is Ht Narrow with extra leg muscles from the advanced. I used what I had.(I can only afford to spend so much on bashes a month) I'm waiting to see what other people use. I was originaly going to use an original Ht body, but broke the leg trying to get the old crappy costume I used off it.

Yeah not trying to bash the body you used!

Just saying I believe HT would have to custom make a whole new body for their Reeve, to get everything to look right under the fabric suit - that's where they'll really add value.

You could always look to pick up a parted HT Reeve body to use with your head and costume if you wanted

I think the best option for a Chris Reeve body is a Hot Toys TrueType Advanced. The torso is a little shorter than Reeve's, but it represents his build and stature the best, in my opinion.

Maybe a little naive, but why not wait for the HT Reeve body? Im pretty sure they will give him kind of muscle body under his suit. + you will have a matching outfit.

hey leo ,thanks for the pics ,i was getting a little discouraged ,and i mean no disraspect to anyones effort ,buts its i just didnt see the grit and dertimination in the sculpt that i hoped for ,well i didnt untill i saw your pics ,awesome congrats to all concerned cheers chris
