With the first Beatles older thread now on page 4, and a new thread on the sculpts put up by Spenser, Im posting this for any new updates and 411 on 1.6 Beatles guitars, drums, etc...

- I know some have some 1.6 guitars already. Where did you acquire these?
also
- Board member Mikep001 added that a 1/6 set will be available by next month here:
https://www.artstudio35.com/
- The 1/6 Beatles drumset can be found on ebay.

Pjam and others got them at store-rooms but I believe they sold out pretty quick. I'd guess that artstudio35 is your best bet for now.

I was thinkin about doing the "I want to hold your hand" video so George and John would actually have two acoustic guitars. But I really want George with the Gretsch. Maybe John with an acoustic and George with the Gresch but I dont know if that ever happened?

For those wanting to do a period specific dio of the Lads from 1964 to 1966, I thought this would be a good place to put this reference site:

M001,
VERY cool...... by the way, do you have any idea what set up they used for the rooftop concert? They look like marshalls, I think. I just finished up the mic stands for my rooftop set. it took me FOREVER to find good closeup pics. They came out ok.

For 1/6th scale purists who want 1/6th scale guitars, the Beatles Cavern set had a Rickenbacker 325 Capri (7/8th scale) overall length 34.5", a Gretsch DuoJet overall length 40.5" (full scale), and a Hofner violin bass 39". For the Sullivan era, subsitute a Gretsch Country Gentleman at about 41.56".

In scale those guitars would be guitars of 5.75", 6.75", and 6.33" for the a Country Gent it would be about 7inches. The closest to those in size are from Uncle-fat and Store-rooms except the RIC at 6.75" would actually be a regular sized RIC and not the banjo-sized RIC that John Lennon--- a noted banjo player--- preferred in the Capri.

For those needing a Beatles Drum Logo, here's one I found:

Print it out to 3.5" or 3.7" and cut to size. If you need the oyster grey skin to redo the Probadisk drum kit:

I thought I'd put this here. It's unclefat's web site:

https://musicandgift.com/index.html?lang=en-us&target=d45_03.html

The black RIC 325 is almost to scale at 6.75" for John's Capri and is at scale for the Full Size. The burst version could pass for George's 12 string 325. And by removing the middle pickup from the black Les Paul, that could pass for George's Gretsch DuoJet... The acoustic guitars about 6-7" are to scale as is the 5-6" mandolins and banjos.

Anyway, Uncle Fat might be inclined to buy the Hofner and the black Epiphone Casino (Gretsch Country Gent) if there's enough interest (?) I asked before and he said to keep checking the web store...

And, Onesixthtoys is back on ebay selling his amp sets.

I emailed unclefat on ebay and here is his response:

I only have the 4" hofner now. If you need 6.75" size, you need to place sepecial order which would take a month of later.

- unclefat

So what should we do now? Also I don't know how this would look with a 1/6 figure, proportion wise. Any thoughts?

I would definitely be willing to do a special order. The 1:6 Hofner is my green light to paint, sew, etc. at this point.

I wrote back and asked him how to order, also asked him if he could look into how the Hof would look with a 1/6 nude fig. Stay tuned... maybe Mike can help us out with this.
