They're still periodically putting up fresh GtG replacement heads in their store. And, they're still selling their existing LOTR stock. Normally, when a company loses a license completely, they'd have to take that stuff down. I'm just reading tea leaves, but that feels like a hopeful sign...

Wasn't their last quasi-official statement (on here at least) was that things were on hold for a while with the license? Which could mean a lot of things. It sucks and we all want answers - and figures - but sometimes we just have to wait until companies work things out between each other or...

So true. The time jumps really made it hard to focus on most of the characters. In the first half of the season, every time you got attached to somebody, they killed them or recast them the following week. I really liked it, but I'm really, really glad they're done with the time jumps...

💯 Were there bumps along the way? Absolutely. Will there be more bumps in their future? Of course. That's true of every company. Even the big ones. (Which Asmus clearly isn't.) But I salute what they've accomplished and really hope they can continue with LotR.
