I ended up brushing on a little bit of craft glue to the tab on the elbow where the forearm keys in. Then inserted the forearm piece. Been 12 hours and so far it's holding up. I'm not sure if your 1/6 version is designed similarly but a dab of glue might do the trick.
I purchased this used with the left arm forearm elbow joint loose (seller disclosed this at the time of the deal). When inserted it still stays in as long as the arm is not dangling down. Can someone provide any tips how I can restore it as close as possible to the original condition?
Purchased this years ago but never realized the headphone plug should come pre-glued to the walkman. Then upon closer look the previous owner had tried to glue it back. I can no longer find the hole to insert the headphone wire back in. Any tips on how I can repair this? Obviously I would...
Update: Got it resolved. Turned out to be the hip joint dislocated. I just squeezed the hips together and popped in like butter. Thanks to a member from another group for the tip.
Help! I picked up a used one and have an issue with the left hip (her left). When I try bending the hip area...
I got a used one in this week and also noticed a certain plasticky smell and feel some residue on my fingers after touching it. not sure if this suggestion was posted earlier since the search function isn't working but I'm thinking about applying some 303 protectant on it to see if it solves...
I was thinking it could be an issue getting the actor's likeness approved but highly unlikely since this would be taken care with a prototype early in the process and with more than sufficient time for corrections. Even if there were any delays with the headsculpt it doesn't impede the process...
The hole is quite larger than the peg thickness. There is no tension noticeable resistance when the peg is inserted. I wish I knew how it's supposed to be attached. The buckle on the other end is secured properly and it allows the buckle to move freely. No biggie since the thread solution seems...
Have a moderately sized red stain on the neck from the jacket on mine. I've used the benozyl peroxide 10% solution on another figure but it took a lot of effort to get it out. I heard a while back ago that if the red scarf is placed around the neck and over time it will eventually "absorb" the...
The AR15 rifle on mine came with the buckle detached from the side of the stock. Seller disclosed this prior to the sale so we're all good with that. I'm not sure how it broke off but the peg on the buckle no longer stays attached when inserted in the hole. I have a temporary (or eventually...
yeah it was sealed with tape. The box was cut and sealed like it came from a factory. The seller in Hong Kong is reputable and I actually met him there. He actually has a distributor account with Hot Toys and said it came like that. Usually regular figures (non-oversized and non-die-cast...
I purchased this Evil Superman in Hong Kong brand new sealed in the shipper box but the box doesn't have any hot toys logo or product information. It's a blank box though the box is perfectly fitted for the art box. Can someone verify that this is normal?
