How disappointing. This figure really shows again that JND just can't pull off sculpts without 3D scans being handed to them by the licensor. Wonder woman, Cavil Superman and a couple other characters which they had 3d scans were all excellent, but the ones they had to sculpt on their own are...

I would assume this one would cost less to paint than an unmask head, since most of it is solid black.

I agree, painted eyes done right can be extremely life-like. Can't wait to see talented artists paint this one up.

Ummm, the cowl looks the same as OT, maybe the Dean's face plates are slightly more Bale like to me. Great work from both guys.

I truly don't understand why Matt Black still works for Sideshow, the first statue he did looked nothing like Reeve, and here we go again.

OT definitely has the best cowls of both Begins and TDK , and he is very honest about his scan sources, all around great work. It is known Jaxon Xu 3d scanned both Enterbay and Hottoys Batman heads and claimed they were his original work. His joker head was also a modified scan of the Prime1...

I like it enough to buy, but I think I'll love it once the repaint is done. I hope this makes sense, lol

Found this on instagram, looks like the same sculpt. I can't wait for this!! I almost pulled the trigger on the 1/2 but it doesn't come with the unmasked Affleck head. Now I have to sell some stuff to make the sapce for this.

I like this one just fine, although I think the factory paint is not that great. I'm having mine repainted by a very talented artist.

I'm really excited about this just from watching the trailer, just hope I'll have enough space when it comes out.

Nice thinking there. I just wish that's actually how it works between toys companies and license holders. Maybe Hot toys and Sideshow ought to try your method and start making more unlicensed figures, as long as " the sculpt was brilliant", there should be a problem, it will all work out between...
