Chani is the one they should prioritize. But at the rate InArt releases figures, we won't get Chani or Feyd until Messiah releases. I kind of wish Hot Toys would tackle the Dune license so we could actually get a line of figures.
Yes I agree that a line of these figures would be ideal. But, We are still far from guaranteed a full line from Hot Toys

A full line from Hot Toys would almost be as surprising as multiple figures from InArt, tbh. Hot Toys is addicted to getting 3/4 of the way through a line and just... giving up. If they had the Dune license, we'd probably get, like, Paul, Duncan, Piter de Vries, a Chani prototype at a convention that never gets released, and a teaser image for Baron Harkonnen that goes nowhere.

Sadly, I think you have described the most likely scenario.

I think the best way to approach a Paul for part two would be a two pack with chani. That way collectors don’t feel like they missed out on the first figure since the main appeal for a second Paul is his blue eyes. Idk just my thoughts and I highly doubt they’d do that

Cant wait for Hayt Duncan Idaho, long hair streaming in the wind. And I want the metal eyes.

Lady Jessica would be cool, but the complexity of her costumes would mean biiiiiig money. That doesn't mean not to do it, though.

GOD, HOW TRUE IS THIS?!!

We'd get Piter and no Feyd. That's the kind of s*** HT does. And a Chani prototype that gets 500 figures *worldwide* and 9000+ customers for the 500, on the waitlist-type release day at SSC.

Remember when they teased a super-cool Baron Zemo figure a few years ago? Have we seen him, NO - him and how many others.

Not super happy with HT shenanigans rn to be honest.

Aug Toys have also been concerningly quiet throughout the whole season of Dune 2 fever. I hope they don't drop off the face of the Earth and manage to throw out some more cool supporting characters.
This is almost what has happened with Asmus and their LOTR line now that InArt are producing figures. They appear to have accepted defeat, if you will, instead of trying to continue by releasing characters that InArt will most likely neglect.

That would be ridiculous. I’m hoping it’s not the license holder who ignorantly just looks at the Paul protos from both companies and then decides to strip it from the ‘lesser’ figure maker.

Asmus always wanted to make high end figures and really thought they would change the game with the Crown line- so I can see why InArt ended up completely demoralising them, even if their Gandalf The Grey may have paved the way for mass produced rooted figures, and The White was an improvement over that.

It should be clear to Aug Toys that InArt will not be producing a ton of figures so it’d be really silly of them to throw in the towel and abandon all other supporting characters and army builders just because InArt made a better Paul.

This poll is absolute rubbish. If InArt wants to be anything in this industry and prove itself to collectors there is only one figure they MUST make and that is a full 1:6 scale Shai-Hulud sand worm! Rooted hairs and everything. Are you up for the ultimate challenge, InArt? Prove yourself!

Aug have already released 1 Paul, with a stillsuit version and Leto & Gurney releasing in the next month. They’re already way ahead of InArt’s schedule. We’ve got a much better chance of other characters from them.

Finally placed my order on the official site. Woulda gone with OSK but the desert mouse is too significant to miss out on imo.

I agree as a figure Chani is very boring.

Imo, sometimes, it’s more about the character itself. And for that reason alone, a Chani figure wouldn’t be “boring.”

If they made her friend, that’d be a boring figure because she’s not relevant in any way.

At least how I see it.

Thing is, there are more interesting characters than Chani which would make a better companion figure for Paul. My vote is for Jessica.
