The trailer looks pretty good. It manages to create tension and a claustrophobic atmosphere, is showing a bit of gore and overall feels like the classic Alien movies before Prometheus etc. Based on this I'd watch it at the theater.

While just a teaser, definitely feels more back to the horror suspense of the original.

Trailer looks promising, digging the aesthetic, very 80s like similar to the original films. I’ve read that Disney is also planning to release an Alien TV series in 2025, that one I’m not so optimistic on given their recent track record.

Looks like a remake with more CGI and more Aliens...

Nothing new from those trailers to get excited about......

Do we need another Alien film that's a monster hunting people? Have we not seen that a thousand times?

The just need to ignore all the previous films and finally make the Dark Horse Comic series that starts after Aliens...

Even if all I get is 2 percent of a chance to get that new Pulse Rifle above, that's still more than I had before.

AVP = Average movie but had some damn good toys for us. Even if this is average, there's still a possible "win" to be mined here IMHO. All we really need is some flashbacks. Some montages. A prologue that sweeps through something cool on screen even for half a second. Then the floodgates opens up for merchandise and collectibles....

I'm hoping this is a great film. If not, excellent toys is a nice consolation prize.

My main fear is that they will attempt to do Ripley for a third time to cash in on both nostalgia and the current woman action hero trend. That shot above is obviously meant to be reminiscent of Ripley holding a pulse rifle. Twice was enough already, lets hope the new character isn't characterized as a carbon copy of Ripley. At least Noomi's character in Prometheus was somewhat different.
