Almost all my figures came in plastic blisters, yet I've never had one arrive damaged, even the ones that came wrapped in one sheet of paper inside a flimsy box. This isn't a fragile resin statue, it's a plastic figure. The main fault is on the manufacturer's side, the packaging design is bad and/or the figure is too fragile. A figure that's already in an extra shipper box shouldn't need to be carefully wrapped in another layer to not get damaged.

Even if the shop made mistakes, GT also deserves blame, especially if they're refusing any replacements and letting the store and buyer eat all the cost. Their "we won't replace it because it was part of a bundle" excuse is the worst part honestly. That's BS, it would've been better if they just said they won't do replacements because they don't want to lose money.

Thin plastic, which many parts of the bike are made out of, is absolutely as prone to breakages as a solid resin statue.

Also, “They still sent it separately in a shipper bag, cut up the original shipper box to fit the bike, and it just arrived all beat up and damaged.” How is this the manufacturer’s fault? GDI cut up the box.

It arrived to the distributor in one piece, in a shipper box. It arrived to the customer in shattered pieces, in a cut up box. This is a no brainer.

GT’s is to blame for small pieces like the goggles breaking, absolutely. But so far yeah there’s a reason why GDI’s bikes have been the ones with issues.

My set came from KGHobby in a double box, covered in postage stamps of course. Remake Cloud and bike I also got from KGH, but they were sent separately and not double boxed, also covered in stamps... This was also at the height of Rona when everything was logistically loco.

This is why I'm asking if anyone from FNC has received their orders yet. I wonder if they'll double box and their cs is known to be very bad. They said they would contact shk about a cloud statue damaged piece and when I went to shk it looks like they didn't even try until I went back to show them
They sell a lot of garage kits. I'd guess their shipping is fine

They sell statues. E2, etc are more for kits. I use FNC all the time and aside from the Cloud story I gave in my last post, I just got another broken one and hoping for the best (Samus). Hoping to hell I get a replacement piece. 🤞 I've had a couple statues come in ok as well though (PPS Cloud).

Saw FFVIIACC (subbed) at Regal last night. Getting to see it on the big screen for the first time ever with a decently sized crowd was such a great experience. I’ve seen this movie probably over a hundred times at this point, and I still love it.
Still use the old VAs? I wondered if they'd re release with new VA like they did with CC to become more consistent with remake/ rebirth

Getting my refund on my broken Bike and its been processed by Paypal.
Im pretty happy with the resolution so I will still probably buy from GDI but maybe not the big stuff.

From the years I've bought from GDI, this is the biggest f-up they've done in terms of shipping. The rebirth Cloud with Hardy Daytona didn't have issues when I got it from them. So at least for my situation, I'd put it mostly on GT with their shoddy, flimsy packaging for the first batch AC Cloud. For those that got their bikes shipped separately, that's mostly on GDI. They repurposed the original box and still failed to account for proper packing.

I think it was the same ACC.

Watching it recently at home, the VAs are… a struggle. Reno, Vince, and Sephiroth were the only stand outs. Cloud too, I think.

It’s funny that Marlene’s voice actress is a young Ariel Winters.

I watched it subbed. Same Japanese audio. Which is what I prefer.

Yeah the Eng dub was mostly fine. The ones you mentioned were the best parts of the dub.

But I still prefer the JP voice acting.

I saw it here, but there was only like 5 people. Very sports centric where I am so not enough nerds.

As for the voices, it only played in Japanese here, but I do miss George as Sephiroth who I prefer the most out of all the VAs English and Japanese. I'm Japanese, but when it comes to remake, I prefer it dubbed. AC had more hit and misses.
