Hell yeah!

Up for PO over at OSK.

I loved Tunshi’s Haohmaru. The ONLY complaint I have for it is the elbows can only bend to 90 degrees.

But overall it’s an awesome figure and I can’t wait to get Ukyo.

Was gonna combine this with Haohmaru thread, but anyway.
Also a proud owner of Haohmaru as well & glad to see & get my main this soon. POed!

Really stoked for this release, already got my PO in with Kit. I'm kind of bummed we didn't get any kind of diorama like in the last picture's background.

Some higher res pics

Just got my invoice from Kit. Anyone seen in hand pictures of this guy? Curious how good he turned out.

For the 5-6 people here who ordered this, looks like he came out just like the proto pics. The closed eyes sculpt looks incredible.

2 things:

1-can’t believe it’s finally out. The OP was back on Sept…of 202effin2. This character’s design did NOT need to take that long to manufacture. At this rate, by the time a THIRD SS figure releases, my first child (a 2 month old at the time of this post) would probably be in kindergarten.
Tunshi, your products are cool…but can we please speed up whatever process you’re employing??

2-the lack of any fanfare over this release. Like @BladeS said…for the 5-6 people that ordered this: I have 2 on the way, so i guess that makes me purchaser number 5 AND 6.

Maybe that’s why it took so long to come out? PO numbers were so low it was placed at the tail end of the factories production schedule?

We need more 1/6 figures based off of video game properties. SS is such a no brainer. Colorful characters, awesome games…

This thread won’t even hit 3 pages I’m afraid, and that makes me 😔

I think this a great release, I do regret not getting Haohmaru when I had the chance (didn't pay the invoice for him but instead had a friend take over my order) I'd get this if I did have that figure but even so anyone who loves these classic fighting games should get it.

Well I received my 2 Ukyo, and I gotta say…

I’m depressed.

It is a FANTASTIC and beautiful figure…but as alluded to in this thread, it doesn’t seem like anyone got this. Just about 20 years of legacy, no action figures save for a statue here and there-this 1st officially produced 1/6 scale Ukyo, which is an absolute must have and a joy to own, has finally released and no one is talking about it.

Ugh…I hate it. This is probably the reason why we BARELY have any figures based off of fighting games. These properties have over 20 years to their legacy and all we got are a handful with varying degrees of success and quality.

Such a damn shame. People are missing out on Ukyo. Even if someone isn’t a fan of Samurai Shodown, they can at least appreciate a dope looking Samurai figure.

But no, let’s go marvel at yet another comic book character or Star Wars character.

😡😠😤😭

Mine comes today and you absolutely scared the **** out of me with the start of your comment. I thought I got bamboozled by the video and these turned out terrible.

I agree with you though, I'm bummed to see such little interest in this figure. His character design inspired one of my own OC in a book I wrote.

Sorry 😅

That’s awesome. Got anything to show off your book? Cover art? Excerpt? I’d love to check it out!

Seriously bummed at the lack of ANY exposure for this amazing figure.

Looking forward to your video if you decide to make one!

I got mine too, but I have about a month before I have to travel again...which barely leaves me enough time even 1 video. Still, on top of the GT Fenrir, I'll do my best to get a review in for this one as well.

Hope y'all have been well!

Sadly not much! I used Midjourney to make a few fan art pictures of characters from the book, but I'm a little short on money to commission anyone legitimately right now... But I'm finishing it up this week after... Jeez, almost 15 years now. Which I found really ironic considering the release of this figure.

Fun little tidbit though. I'm actually a pixel artist! So I have some drawings of both my OC and Ukyo.

Here's the AI images I generated too, since I'm not much of an artist outside of pixel sprites.

You can see why I was so excited for this release!

Also, so I'm a little bit more on topic, I love this figure. Such awesome presence. He's pretty much identical to the proto pics. The flowing hair sculpt is just perfect.

I think my only complaint is I wish his hair was a touch darker, it's almost more of a teal blue in person. Also the box is pretty huge. Not as big as my WB100 WW but still caught me majorly off guard.
