The Tifa default dress' face just looks bad though... some even used rulers and saw her eyes being misaligned. But the three dress versions fixed it, and it should reflect on the re-release version next month, hopefully šŸ¤ž

Hi! Could anyone please help me out? I'm kinda new to collecting figures and I want to buy a Play Arts Kai Tifa one that is releasing in the end of this month in Japan. The question is, will they leave the same face sculpt people were complaining about, or would they change it to the updated one they used in dress-up versions (Purple dress and cheongsam)?
If you don't mind ordering from Japan, you can usually get PAK for cheap after release because they almost always tank in price there. Quality isn't very good and usually worse than the prototype, it's good to wait for release to see what the shipped product looks like.

You can still 3d print the heads after dynamesh, smoothening it, etc. Then add skin texture back in and add new eyeballs. I did it for Nero from dmc5. I simply opened in blender, deleted everything but the head, exported as obj and open in zbrush. This isn't a resin print, but a cheap fdm one just to see if it worked. I'm making my own Nero head, but it's definitely a great reference. Limtoys themselves even said they used the model for Joel and Nathan Drake and even provided proof on Kit's page on a post about Joel if you'd like to check

I'm well versed in the process, I rip models myself to use to make 3D prints. For the most part I personally don't wind up using it as anything other than reference, but it helps a ton to be able to freely see everything from every angle. I'm just saying xnalara has nothing to do with it as it's not the native format. I'd be surprised to learn Lim is using some random model taken off devianart instead of going to the source, but I won't claim to know how they work.

I've started up this little project this week myself, just need to finish the handle and then I'll move on to engineering to figure out the best way to split it into pieces for printing:

I've got a headsculpt in the works, too, but that's not ready to share before I finish the hair.

Hello,
Someone can tell me hat is the price actually for a Gametoys Cloud AC brand new sealed please? (without Fenrir)
Thanks

Hello, I just discovered your forum and looked through the 490 pages! it was long but informative =) and I'm coming to share my Gametoys Cloud

I'm French and my English still needs work so sorry
Nicee. Did you build your own display case?

You can carefully fill it with epoxy or a modeling putty and paint it. Applicator needs to be small, like a toothpick or something and just a very small batch. If doing the epoxy route, probably let the resin seize up a little first, so it's not as loose when applying. If it were mine, that's probably how I would go about repairing it.
A replacement might be tough though since its limited quantity and third party. But maybe give that a shot first, who knows.

My single version Cloud arrived today. Very well packed and super fast. Only took 7 days to get to me.
Many thanks @Kit Chen!

What can I say.... He looks gorgeous!

But unfortunately there's a hole in his hairpiece and some paint attrition on the back of his head:

I would definitely reach out to Kit and see if there anything he can do to reach out to GT, third party or not, for $320 and having hole in the head sculpt that's crazy

I checked mine it said return to sender, at this point I'm about to give up and ask for a partial refund for the bike, it's crazy how the bike been having so much trouble to get ship out
Nothing on the bike for me, had my cloud almost a month now.

If it doesn't show up in the next few weeks I'll contact GDI again and ask for a refund.
