No. They're banking on the elbows not ripping if you dare to do that pose for more than 5 minutes.

Is the jacket made of leather? Unlikely since they don't mention it, but definitely a big improvement.

I'll likely get it and if InArt's future Bane is significantly better than I'll upgrade, or if they solicit their pre-order before this comes out (as I won't be pre-ordered it) then even better!

Also, it will be interesting to see how the seamless body holds up. InArt are completely unproven in this area, so that's another consideration.

I know but this version just may be good enough. Im sure the InArt would be an improvement, but considering he’s a bald bald character, I’m not quite sure it would potentially be worth the upgrade, at least for my needs. That could all change later though

In any case, I don’t really PO anything anymore these days. And considering how many HT figures are still in stock (and subsequently discounted) after their production release, there’s a good chance that this will still be available when/if InArt show theirs.

The other thing to consider is that InArt is current untested in the seamless body category. And while it could all just be wording, HT have upgraded their seamless body approach starting with the recently released WW84, where they specifically mentioned that they’ve developed a new silicon material, as well as new finish and surface coating (whatever that actually means) for the seamless body. I would imagine that same new tech is being used on this Bane figure.

As more ppl get their hands on WW84, we will start to find out how durable this supposed “new” material really is.

It looks cool, but I'm not in the market for more Bat-Merch anymore. I'll get the IA Bale and I'll probably call it quits in that regard, unless Battinson's second suit is closer to the comics or something (I'd like a Phoenixoker but I'm not dropping the 1K). A random release in any case. Well, saving money's always a plus I suppose... But I have to say, I haven't POed anything since the MKIII and I'm bored waiting for each week's announcement. Come on, throw me specifically a bone here. I'm still waiting for those damn MoM Stranges...

They aren’t advertising it as leather but they also haven’t said leather-like that they normally do, so anybody’s guess.

Costume:
- One (1) brown coat
- One (1) brown jacket
- One (1) green combat vest
- One (1) pair of dark grey military pants with knee pads
- One (1) brown glove for right hand
- One (1) pair of dark green combat boots

Definitely pleather if not mentioned lol. Though it could also be vinyl which would be 100x times better

It's clever of HT to get their Bane out first. They know they can't compete with rooted figures so they go all out on a bald one.

I'm quite surprised that there's still interest for TDKR. BB and TDK are awesome but I kinda forgot about the last film.

Movie is underwhelming (at most), but Bane is awesome though. I hope coat is leather, at least that way it’d have one long lasting outfit. Definitely will consider getting this one.

Rises is the one I find myself wanting to rewatch the most. Never understood the criticism of it and it always felt in bad faith, people saying **** like “hOw DiD bRucE WayNe Get bAck To GothAm? THIS MOVIE IS UNWATCHABLE”.

It's pretty lazy of HT. A new Bane is cool and all, but to celebrate 100 years of WB they're just sticking with the same 3 films again? How many BB suits are there, how many TDK/TDKR suits, Jokers. The trilogy has been milked of the iconic looking characters. Samurai Bruce? Samurai Ra's? Maybe. Neeson in a suit with a weird goatee? Talia? Hmmm. Nah. Not for me anyway. And TDKR is the worst of the 3.

By all means revisit some characters, but to limit a 100 year anniversary to just the Nolan versions? We could have had a new '89, Nicholson Joker, Panther suit, Chris Reeve 2 pack, Superman Returns, Affleck Wayne, Cavill shirt rip. Nah, gotta have the bald guy.

If they're doing 100 Anniversary stuff in general, I'd love a B&R Batman so that I could use the Clooney head for my 00s Nick Fury kitbash. But the recent Kilmer Batman didn't have a HS, so even if they made that Batman, a Bruce Wayne HS would be unlikely... Well, I'm still going to fantasize about it and be disappointed when it doesn't come true.

WTF is a Cavill shirt pull? You’ll have to forgive me, I’ve done everything I can to forget every Snyder film I’ve seen.

Can we talk about how Bane has like an invisible neck and a pin sized head? He is sort of reminding me of The Batman’s custom Bane.

Looks very good actually, I really like the first one apart from the trousers the jacket kinda looks like a suede finish or pleather or both

If they're celebrating Warner's 100th birthday how about some Matrix Reloaded figures

I think Hot Toys is really failing to get better. Despite all the improvements in tech and manufacturing the art direction just isn’t there to make definitive pieces. They’re too comfortable with close enough.

This Bane looks weird and I feel like I was able to identify what looks off in a couple minutes. Not perfect but way less egg headed and reminds me more of the character than the round boy on the left.
