Yes this sounds interesting. Something new, reflected in whatever Ana is maybe? The slogan of more human than human comes up a lot and it seems like it's about being the best kind of human. If something artificial can become better than the negative things most humans do to each other then they...
Sorry to dredge up a really old thread but I finally got to see this and loved it.
One thing bothered me though, they strongly implied/showed he was walking through the walls at one point. Why couldn't he just reach in and grab the note? I guess the easy answer is he somehow "dematerializes"...
I don't consider these points "bread crumbs". That implies they are easily missed and sprinkled about for people to find. Your interpretation of Joi is the most obvious and literal viewpoint.
I recommend getting her, I love that they gave her the see-through yellow jacket and it's squishy, lol.
I didn't mean she is *supposed* to be rude to other women. I don't think they'd make a "Fatal Attraction" model, lol. But that a little hint of jealousy is attractive to most people and would make her appear more "human". If your partner never cared about how much time you spent with potential...
Was it ever established where K got Joi? I've been wondering if it's something he sought out or does the police department essentially issue them to replicants to keep them stable.
Edit to add:
Very true, but Wallace is not making money on the replicant hooker, is he? Is this a...
Ooo I wish I had caught this discussion earlier.
I kept thinking in circles about the eminator. Does she really want to go with him? Or is it a subtle way of pushing product? She tells him she wants to go with him but he had to purchase it, right? Thus investing further in the company that...
Yeah, I'm much more appreciative of the theater experience these days and try to see something as many times as possible when I run into something worth the big screen. This one would have been great.
I missed this one in the theater but watched at home with all the lights out and a coke for energy, lol. While I don't think it resonated emotionally with me as much as others it was definitely a nice spacious movie. Roomy with lots of time to ponder. I figured after the opening there wouldn't...
Is anyone noticing if the disguise Raph is still loose in the torso?
I was hoping they might have fixed this problem like they did with the spots on Donnie.
Re: Star Wars: Episode IX - December 20, 2019
Definitely. I was most worried about Hamill going into FA just because his original performance isn't top notch and voice acting seems to make actors a little more "over the top" like stage performers but dang he out-acted almost the entire cast...
Re: Star Wars: Episode IX - December 20, 2019
I know the ST is set up to introduce new characters and they only included the OT characters to get butts in the seats and to pass the torch but I can't help feeling like they were wasted entirely. I know there was no way to get Harrison to do more...
