Yeah, I think Exo-6's strength is really in their tailoring. It's really quite good, Quark in particular is an impressive piece of work. In the end, I think Nanjin will find a way to make Dukat. Dukat is just too important of a character. And Nanjin is just too stubborn and tenacious of a guy to...
That's probably true but if we're all being honest, Dukat is a much more interesting character than Bashir. Bashir may well end up as the lowest selling DS9 figure overall when the dust settles at the end of the line, he's a perfectly good character and an important part of the show but he's...
Garak and Dukat are such important characters to DS9, would be a huge blow to miss either. I'm confident when Dukat's turn rolls around, Nanjin will have found a way to make it work. May cast doubt on other 'armored' Cardassians like Damar getting made though.
Reading it again it seems more like Garak is not particularly in jeopardy, but Gul Dukat could be expensive enough to be a risk, I assume because of his uniform? It was pointed out that Garak is mostly 'cloth' (which exo-6 is very good at), but Dukat is a lot of rubbers and 'hard parts' like the...
Latest is that the Cardassians (Garak, Dukat) may be too expensive to make based on DS9 demand, so keep fingers crossed he can find a way over that hurdle... or we'll miss two very important characters in that franchise :(
I... have no idea what that implies, other than I'm a big Star Trek fan, have been waiting FOREVER for 1/6 Star Trek after YEARS of seeing Star Wars get all the love from Hot Toys, and want to support this endeavor in any way that I can?
Ha ha... I guess? But as an outsider (as you so...
I think she looks just fine. I'm all in, can't wait to get Kira on the shelf with Sisko and Odo, and Quark and Garak and Julian and Miles and Jadzia and the rest!
Well clearly something happened, because the show went from taking a dump all over beloved Legacy characters, to being very much appreciated by the fan base. The tone completely turned a corner, and the Legacy characters were suddenly popular and important to the show again. Whatever roll...
I don't wish anything bad on Legacy, but I have no interest to see it and in fact actively intend not to. They already burned me once by not finishing the last story. No way I'm going back to DC movies at this point, unless the word of mouth by actual Superman fans is absolutely 100% glowing...
I'm of the mindset that this is a very new company, and nobody has ever dared to go into Trek this deep. If people stop buying these because they're using Hot Toys or some other vastly experienced player in the industry as their baseline, then Trek dies, and we do another 20 years with no 1/6...
