That’s how you do it mate! Very stoked for this - although this is the part of the hobby I hate - the waiting. We’ve put people on the moon for chrissake - surely we can churn out a few hundred statues in a couple of months! :-p
I have to echo what @Blue Liquid said - always enjoy your...
This is exactly correct - the shot during the rolling of the credits. Images of that original prop bust exist on the internet. The teeth were metal as that skull really went through fire during the making of the shot. The glowing eyes were added in post production for the same reason.
Thank you kind sir!
I only pop up when good Terminator pieces are on the horizon, so once every 4 years or so :)
What can I say. I am just a Terminator dork.
One thing I think that was not well understood - even though it is obvious - is that pictures distort perspectives. In addition, as we all know, people in ”real life” who have “presence” don’t always translate that presence well in pictures or on camera. The presence of the T1 piece and the...
I will preorder the version with the metal teeth today. Is it worth the 200 extra dollars? For me yes, as the terminator endoskull bust coming out of the flames in the intro had metal teeth. I would use the real head and display the metal bust - true to how they appeared in the actual movie. So...
Due to the way it is made it is about 10% smaller than 1-1. It is however, more impressive in person especially when displayed in an acrylic case that came with the skull. The real chrome makes my sideshow skulls look cheap.

Hey mate! The chromed teeth are because it is prop replica of the T2 skull that comes out of the flame in the intro sequence. The original prop was also solid brass and chrome plated, as this one is. Note the jaw pistons are not that horrible plasticy stuff on every other endo out there. The...
Hello my friends! Just popped by to say I still love my statue. (Of course I am probably just saying this to myself because I spent a lot of money on it, so I have to pretend that I am satisfied with my purchase lest my cerebrum implode. Those people in the other forum are so perceptive they...
If it breaks in 2-3 years so be it. It is the best 1/2 scale endo out there, and respectfully anyone disputing that needs to go back to THEIR big circle jerk. I also find it insulting and patronizing to claim I have to convince myself to like the endo. Like you have the slightest clue what I...
He he. I am looking forward to his more menacing presence when elevated. This is arguably an interim use case for a rather battered old Lack. (IKEA won?t deliver a new one to my home for a 7EUR spend and I can?t pick one up - thanks COVID!!!)
Pics tomorrow when I have time to get him up there...
