My eFX shield will ship this week from BBTS; have a King Arts The Winter Soldierbattle damaged version on preorder. Expect I will like both of them for their differences.
This will be my second eFX Marvel piece; I am beyond satisfied with Thor's helmet. I am sure the wait for Loki's helmet is...
So I wonder if this would make a Rulk comiquette displayed next to it look unbearably puny? I HATED the head sculpt on the Hulk comiquette but really dig the Rulk version, and I don't really want to display several identically-posed Hulks in different hues.
Admittedly this sort of display has a...
I'm anxious to see if the chairs will look as cramped as I'm afraid they will in this thing. It looks pretty cool, but I'm not sure it's going to be big enough to model what I want as the inside of my cantina display.
So does this mean this is going to see release somehow? I just got in the blue Snags (my first of this line) and I'm hooked for at least the Cantina aliens.
Edit: Ah, I see GG will be making it available directly later this year upon further research.
I wish Sideshow would do some large...
Just in case anybody's interested, the Premiere Guild Members' excslusive edition of the bookends (which adds the Jawa and an additional unmasked Leia head) is on sale for $200 ($50 off) over at Gentle Giant's site through the end of April. Yes, you do have to be a Premier Guild member to...
Re: ANYBODY have a comparison of the 1:10 Star Wars by Gentle Giant, Koto & Attakus?
If I could get at a larger copy of this photo of Benni's collection I'd have a partial answer to my question (the part regarding the comparative size of Stormtroopers, the only character that all three...
Yeah, I'd momentarily forgotten about the $7K Millenium Falcon-in-the-Death Star-hanger-with-metal-4"-figures, which is sily because you can see a set of them in the top of the glass case on the right-hand side of the photo I published to illustrate the difference in 1:5 and 1:10. Silly, silly...
So, Gentle Giant, Kotobukiya, and Attackus are all presently producing Star Wars statue items that are approximately in 1:10 scale.
Does anyone have items from two, or all three, of the companies for the sake of being able to compare them to see if the scale is consistent enough to display them...
You are incorrect. All Attakus Star Wars statues are 1/5 scale or 1/10 scale (which they initially announced a little over a year ago if I'm not mistaken).
Luckily it's pretty easy to tell the difference:
From https://www.fullmetalhero.com/t6830/:
"Thanks to the Hot Toys Community we have some updates on scheduled releqase dates for lots of forthcoming figures. Looks like afew highly anticipated ones have dropped back a little bit again.
Delayed Until April 2012

I was never able to warm up to the headsculpt and hairstyle on the Comiquette's original release, but I'm all over this. (To be fair, the pose, while awesome, is so very specific I don't know that I'd want it repeated multiple times in my display.)
I'll continue to dream of a Professor Hulk PF...
Ditto. I have the original and I'm kind of glad I passed on the Batle Damaged due to its excessive slimness and its crotch issues; I'd like to see an upgraded version to go in the Hall of Armor.
As far the Mark I, I'm perfectly happy with my original. The new sculpt is nice but my Mark I will...
