If it went for $200 USD new in box, even I might have to think about getting it.

And if anyone was willing you could get a professional repaint on top of that price and it might be worth it in the end:dunno

if it ever does go that cheap, I would definitely get it repainted. Sculpt is too great.

10% off with free GLOBAL shipping now.

Unfortunately, it still comes in vinyl, with seams, and all the other annoying extras :)

.

We were talking about that discount on the previous page. And I wouldn't be surprised if you could find it cheaper from other outlets trying to off load the stock.

I can get it from my local Australian store for approximately $465 USD (after member discounts) shipped Australia wide!

And we were pretty much saying that that's still way too much for it.

LOL here in czech republic still :

It's like a big I told you so to Sideshow regarding the material chosen.

But is it that they kept the materials used underwraps, or is it because of the paint job that really ended up killing this piece? Or a combination of both.

Because I imagine if a piece is primed well, the paint 'should' still look good, but as many have mentioned this just looks too plastic?

“Ohhh but plastic is soooo wonderful!”
“Nothing tops the quality and details of plastic!”
Blah blah blah...

Nope.
Polystone or bust... literally

I saw this in person and actually thought it wasn't that bad, but I wouldn't have paid half of what they're asking for it.

This should never have been PVC as there was no need for it. PVC should be reserved for small parts only, where polystone doesn't work well, or human head sculpts. Sideshow also does a terrible job with PVC regardless...they need to take lessons from Blitzway and Hot Toys.
