1/6 Hot Toys 1/6 scale Deathstroke

Let me preface this question by saying my only exposure to Deathstroke is from The CW Arrow TV show & the JL post credits scene. Is that lighter blue color and/or that much of it consistent with Deathstroke's look in the comics? I'm assuming it's consistent with his look in the Arkham Origins game.

it's pretty spot on as far as how he looks in the game, but yes, it is a tad brighter than his look the comics, shows and film.

still, this might be the only time we get a deathstroke figure, so Im game...just not from sideshow. I'll gladly wait and get it a little later than most ordering through BBTS.com. Sideshow's shipping has gotten a little out of hand for nothing extra. No added protection of double boxing, just shipper and prayers

I used up my reward points on ROTJ Luke and don't plan on ordering through SS again. BBTS or Timewalker everytime now. Savings on BBTS shipping or savings on the figure through TW. No savings and high shipping does not make up the reward points.

This figure makes me want a DC Comics line from Hot Toys. Pretty much like what Sideshow does, but better. It'll never happen though.

Sideshow shipping prices is the reason I always go BBTS when I can, they're ridiculous. The only time I order from Sideshow is when it's sold out at BBTS and genuinely fear missing out (ie Anakin)

I agree on Sideshow. Unless I absolutely need their payment plan based on the timing of other orders, I pretty much only use them after I've racked up sufficient reward points to make them cost competitive (which these days means post-Spooktacular). The only exception being must-have exclusives. I just did a tally & I have 17 HT figures on order and only 4 of them are with SS.

How much longer on average does it take BBTS to start shipping newly arrived things after SS? People make a good argument about the shipping prices getting whacky for SS, so I'm thinking of grabbing this on BBTS (assuming it isn't sold out by the time I'm done typing), but I might have to be that impatient first-worlder and still go with SS if the extra wait is ridiculous.

I understand why people go with other vendors and I don't think there's one right answer. For me personally though I go with SS for the most part.

Cons:
Tax- I'm in California (though tax may be true for everyone soon)
Nrd- I don't typically cancel if I put in an order so not a big deal for me
Higher shipping

Pros:
Get it early- Lately this can mean much earlier. I've had HT Spidey for months while some haven't even got there's from BBTS yet.
Easy access to replacement- in the event that I need to get a replacement they've always been helpful. I know this isn't everyone's experience though.
Payment plans- I usually split between these and full pays depending on what my payment calendar looks like.
RP- I've gotten a few figures off RP alone.
Quick shipping- high priced, but because I'm in CA once something processes at SS I usually have it in 2 days.

Like I said that might not be everyone's experience, but those are the reasons I've stuck with sideshow so far.

Aaaand PO sold out on BBTS. So glad I PO'd as soon as it went up XD

Kinda amazing it's at the point where this is happening on figures that are 8 months to a year+ from actual release.
