The unmasked head looks like Michael Shannon's Asian doppelgänger. I like the figure, the $210 price isn't as shocking given the original SSC figures tags in recent times. I don't like how thin he looks but I understand it's a classic figure. I'm seriously considering it but probably the regular. I don't see myself kit bashing or using the Wayne sculpt as it's presently shown especially knowing the SSC figures usually take a step down once in production with their human paints.

jeez all you get is 2 batarangs for $200 :slap and as cool as that Bruce Wayne sculpt is, no way am I paying $210 for that. Pretty Rediculous everything you get with the new SSC 1/6 Jedi Luke for $235 yet here you get nearly just a figure at $200

The Bruce Wayne head looks like someone told the sculptor "Michael Shannon's intensity with Benedict Cumberbatch's intelligence."

Looks great, but it would be an instant purchase for me if it was the Neal Adams Batman.

Remember that old video where they showed plans for all the comic based versions they were going to do?

And we get this.
The video still out there? I'd be interested in seeing it.

Out of curiosity, since many have agreed this isn't the figure they wanted, what is the figure you want?

The blue version and the Gotham Knight version were comic-accurate costumes, though they weren't specific artist interpretations. Do people want to see a specific artist adapted? Or a specific suit?

I really love my Gotham Knight version. It's certainly my preferred costume, but I might have dropped a different likeness on it.

Personally I don't need to see a specific artist adapted because the artists I'd want to see would be unlikely to be adapted, and I have no interest in more Jim Lee merch--but I would love to see the 70s/80s oval and capsule belt look captured. If you slapped the oval and capsule belt on this figure I'd be thrilled.

In a perfect world maybe he'd have a Marshall Rogers, Neal Adams, or Jim Aparo likeness, but that's not crucial.

I'd be interested in Adams, Capullo, Lee, Miller, and Romita Jr.-inspired Batman figures in any scale, personally!

I'd be all over a Frank Miller version for sure! I have a modified Medicom but he's a little on the short side compared to standard 1/6 figures.

I don't have either of the original 2 SS Batman figure, but to me this looks much nicer. I never liked the body on the previous 2 as they were way too muscular for my taste, and the faces looked too old and aged. I like the new body size, the face, the cape looks great. My only worry would be to buy this and then they do a 2nd black & grey version several months later just like with the 1st release. And although I probably would never display the Wayne head, it's more than worth the $10 so this is an ex worth preordering. But I still want to see the final production piece of the SS Thor, and still too many HT SW figures I want...

Too many great figures coming out from both HT & SS... :gah: Time to either part with some old stuff I've never even displayed or need to sell a kidney or something. :lol

Wonder what a black painted headsculpt from this would look like placed on the Gotham knight figure. I’ve always wanted the Gotham knight but those headsculpts are atrocious!

I'll probably grab an the headsculpt from TA or eBay and paint it black for my Gotham Knight figure. It'll give me a total of 5 headsculpt options for that figure lol

There's only a $15 price difference between these. :cuckoo:
