I think it looks good, but I am disappointed they went with that pose over the twin Rifle variant teased in the same art work as a slightly different version of this final piece.

Re: Sideshow T-800 Endoskeleton Maquette

I like it overall but it needs a rifle on back arm, I think it looks better then the chronicle, but chronicle has a cool gun, good base

which one would go better with the sideshow t2 arnold battle damaged though?

Re: Sideshow T-800 Endoskeleton Maquette

I quite like it, but would have preferred the other pose with twin rifles. I imagine the rifle that featured in the artwork will probably be added, it looks a little unfinished without.

Re: Sideshow T-800 Endoskeleton Maquette

Yeah better than chronicle, the detail is very clean, definitely a good looking piece.
It feels like to me, the whole scene is based on the end of the first movie.

it's final and already up for order.

a pass for me. a terminator with no gun = no sale.

Crouched a bit more, but reminds me of the Pred cinemaquette pose.

Yea, a little to creature/human/organic of a pose for an endo.
But I still want to replace my HT Endo figure, so will keep an eye out.

gah i know i really want a gun, thats the only flaw, some skulls on the base would be nice too

Crap!
I was waiting for this as I missed the original PF...

I just hate the pose. Too human. The 1st sketch we had with both guns was soooo full of win....
Too bad... money saved.

I think the pose is fantastic. Why does an endoskeleton have to look robotic?. With skin on, its motions have to be as fluid as a human's. Remember, you're not supposed to be able to tell it's a robot. The endo in T1 looked robotic only because, 1. it had a damaged leg and 2. it was done with stop motion. The endo's abilities sans skin were displayed properly in Genisys.

I'm glad there are no guns. This is supposed to represent T1. There were no endoskeletons with pulse rifles in T1, not even in the future war scenes. I haven't had time to pick apart any inaccuracies with this, but it looks pretty darn good.

Re: Sideshow T-800 Endoskeleton Maquette

Huh. Why is it the leg positioning bothers me as well? It's funny, they just seem too far apart. Don't get me wrong, it looks fantastic - there's just something 'off' about the pose. Off enough that I won't lose any sleep over not ordering, anyways.

Re: Sideshow T-800 Endoskeleton Maquette

I stated this in the other thread. This is supposed to represent the endo from T1. There were no endos in T1 with pulse rifles. If it came with a rifle, it might as well be another T2 endo.

When the endo had flesh on it and looked like Arnie, it was able to accommodate every pose a human could. It could run fluidly. Why does this have to behave like a robot? It's not. It's much more advanced than just a robot. I think it's great.

Re: Sideshow T-800 Endoskeleton Maquette

600 bucks, no guns and a goofy pose ( for a robot ). Color me disappointed and I was looking fwd to this. Pass.
