Crazy our 1/6th collecting world. I will drop 300+ for a BD Robocop, Chewbacca etc with no hesitation, but if was given a offer to buy these Jawa's for even $100, I would say.....NO! So when I see $219 I just.....move along!!

I'm not getting why some are saying the fabric is wrong. Comparing it to the source material, the fabric used on the figures (which looks to be a custom weave with texture) seems to match the rough woven fabric of the original costumes.

Just saw these little guys, I think they look great. Those product pictures are some of the best ones I've seen yet from any company. They're very atmospheric and really help sell the figures. My two favorite shots in the gallery is the one of them in the Cantina (with the wanted Han Solo poster) and the other of them chilling outside with the Dewback. Again, they look awesome. I think they'll look great with R5, C-3PO, R2 and Hot Toys Luke Skywalker. Maybe even some dead ones for Hot Toys Ben and Luke to burn! I think for the scale, they're quite impressive. I think the robes look fine.

The price is atrocious though in my opinion. $220 for these two little guys feels like a rip off to me. I could see if they came with a cheap droid like gonk or something, but $220 for just the two of them feels just as wrong as Pilot Like (which also looks great in the product shots). Personally, $170-$190 feels more appropriate for 2015.

When I look at what you get with the Jawas vs. what you get with a similarly priced 1:6 figure, I'm kind of shocked. These other 1/6 figures with their sculpting, tailoring, armor, lights, weapons, accessories, moveable eyes, swappable faceplates, robes, clothes, licensed likenesses are just as complex if not moreso.

Great looking little figures, terrible, non-existent value.

First mentor one was $60/70ish (depending whether one got the exclusive snake or not) and the second master deluxe one from the prequels was $99.99.

That still doesn't seem very good to me. I get what you're saying, but I dunno.

I know Yoda is a couple of years old now, but that figure actually had great value. These Jawas? Not so much. If cheap electronics, our economy, licensing etc. is to blame, (and I'm not saying those aren't factors, well, save for maybe the electronics), then what about discrepancies like this?

Luke on the right has way more "stuff", is more recent in a poor economic climate, has Disney AND distributor licensing it has to pay, a base AND has electronics . . . yet it's 10 dollars less? Huh? Same deal with a single Jawa vs. Yoda. There's a measly $10 difference between the two (if we're generous and give the tall Jawa all the accessories), but Yoda is still a much better buy.

Lol, they don't have to justify anything. It's a couple of 1:6 Jawas to throw in your detolfs. If you don't like the price, pass and move on with your life. I don't get who any of you think you are to dictate the price/value to SSC. The extent of most of your experience is buying other similarly priced figures and I guess that's made you all experts in what it costs to produce these things. :lol
