(I'm using "her" as interchangeable on all the AH comicquettes).

uh okay. so me and anyone else will just pretend that our statues didnt come with two crooked eyes because black cat has perfectly painted statues and that's all that matters. right

Id really love to see pictures of your so called perfect statues. youve always been the first to disprove anyone that was unhappy with the eyes, but yet youve never once posted pics of yours to back up your claims.

head on over to statue forum then cause they are there. Please don't say that I've been the first to disprove cause I'm not saying that yours is not like that at all. I'm saying that mine isn't is all I said and think I would I know if they were. There have been many others with no lazy eyes as well. All I said was if you didn't like it then get another. I just think that you guys are being disrespectful with the comments.

I think the "Lazy-Eye-Story" is not as bad as it seems.
If you don't look straight ahead your eyes never look exactly in the same direction. In MJ's case the viewers angle is originally extremly sideways so that you might get the misimpression of the lazy eyes...

Well there are lazy eye paints and its a defect from the factory no doubt about either of those points but the bottom line is that it doesn't detract from it being a great statue. I only noticed mine when I opened it and never thought about it since, those who are really OCD and can't live with it have usually got it repainted or returned it.

Bring on the Comiquette especially since now we have confirmed proof of the line's continuance and let's just have Adam design the girls so seductively you don't really notice their eyes.

Technically his work isn't translatable... As we've found he does a simple sketch and idea of what he'd do, works with the sculptor on various parts then his artwork comes after the fact, which is why the art included never matches the actual comiquette the more drastic case being the Black Cat.

Heh, yeah, I know Jean has had a lot of great looks, but I think the best look for an AH comiquette would mix iconic with original. Phoenix has been done to death. I think the "Here Comes Tomorrow" Phoenix from Morrison's run is fantastic and original, but not iconic enough. I think the look the comiquette should use needs to be recognizable (not "if you missed an issue, you missed the look"). That's why I like the classic green dress -- not as used as the Phoenix, still recognizable, and it's actually one of Jean's more skimpy costumes to boot.

Given Allison's comments about the look for Rogue, I'd really only expect a green or burgundy Phoenix for Jean. Or maybe the Black Queen (which doesn't seem to be in that costume overview?)

My top 3 Jean costume choices that haven't been done as a statue for an AH Jean comiquette would be:
1) Her New X-Men costume, but with her long leather jacket that she likes to wear flowing behind her.

2) Her Here Comes Tomorrow Outfit. This one is surprisingly popular, they released a Marvel figure of it and not only did it sell out, it was popular enough to be rereleased in best of series.

3) Jean as the Black Queen. Nuff said.
