Somehow this version looks more like batman to me. I am not a fanboy of the black and gray coloring, but I think it suits this particular piece better. Not sure if it is because of the black or the darker gray though.

These ears are way to long for my taste. He looks more like a bunny than a bat with these. Fortunately the short ears seem decent. Furthermore both non-snarling faces look decent to me.

Man, that looks awesome. Exactly how I'd pose him. I love the way it looks when his cape is draped over him. Sadly not something that is shown in the movies but I remember it being in TAS. That shot alone makes me want this.

The cape looks leathery to me, reminds me of the way Lee Bermejo draws Batman.

The cape looks leathery to me, reminds me of the way Lee Bermejo draws Batman.

The thing is with a pose like that though is while it does look cool if I'm spending that much on a figure I don't just want it completely covered in shadows.

Yeah, ordered. The sculpts on the other one were terrible but these feel really okay. I love how versatile it could be with all the different heads and faces.

I need to check out the thread for the other Batman to see some final product pics, to get a feel for how this will look. I'll wait for in hand pics before buying it, but I'm hopeful. I think the best Batman fig yet will be Affleck's from the Dawn of Justice line but it looks like this could easily fill the hole in my collection until then

It's basically just saying that it'll ship around quarter four. Most of these releases go by what quarter they expect a figure to be ready to ship.

October? If this thing hits in December I'll be shocked. Interestingly enough the FlexPay doesn't even start until September. I want it but I'm waiting for a coupon. With no exclusive I'm in no rush.

yeah i have the alex ross version of that figure above ,the capes not great but you could swap it out for a side show cape and it would look much better ,after a lot of trial and error i found out its possible to turn the blue cape black with this

i found the best way to use it was in a spray bottle ,like you get febreze in washed out and add a jar full of water to the jar of dye and spray both sides of the cape ,let it dry and iron as per instructions
colour fast and flexible with out the stiffness associated with paint
incidentally i skipped the ironing ,just dried it on a hot radiator lol , worked fine

I have this, and their Joker too. They are amazing figures, certainly my favorite Batman so far, but yeah, the cape could be better. It's wired and I hate wired capes, and though the material looks really good, it lacks weight.
