re: ELVIS1976 CUSTOM WORK • MAD MAX FURY ROAD

Back from NY with lots of inspiration and ideas.

After seing Mark Thomas/Dorgmal Snow awesome SAFS suits, I had to finish mine. Gave me the kick again. Still lots to do but here how it looks so far. To make it short I got a vinyl kit and gave it full articulation. Working light in the cockpit too. Thanks Mark for the great inspiration as always.

Elvis, Amazing!! When you do your weathering for your figures, do you dry brush, use chalks and not paints … can you give me some quick tips and the best way to weather??
THANKS!!!!!

Thanks my friends.

To go with the SAFS mech i'm working on a line of originals 1/6 figures.

I named the series after a NIN song "The Day the world went away".

Here's the first pics of the first 2 characters, Captain Hell"o" and Rosita.

I also made a new Gasmask for Captain Hell"o". I wanted something that looks less like a traditional Gasmask and more insect like.

Love your work man, I know you have been asked this a million times, but what do you use or do to stop paint rubbing on the bodies?
Thanks.

Awesome figures. You are on the same page as Zuno! Hope to make such a figure myself one day.

Hey, Elvis saw that recent exhibit video you were in - nice work. :)

With all these metal musicians you're doing, ever considered Ozzy??

His 80s album covers would make excellent inspiration for you. :lol :rock

Well to colour a body i am using cloth dye and for weathering usually i put a light layer of carnish.

Ozzy is def one i will do. I always liked what MacFarlane did with Ozzy. He kinda looked a bit super heroic which suits him quiet well.
