Hey man a fellow Ventura man, I used to live near Downtown off of S.Hemlock kinda gheto but near the beach, yeah prices go up, but also there are like over 1 million AP peeps in So Cal so they are trying to slow them down I'm guessing.

I used to live in Ventura County but now only work there. I moved to LA county a few years ago. Yeah, I heard one of the reasons they got rid of the SoCal pass was to curb the amount of AP holders. We'll see if it works for them.

That's a tough call... as a stand alone I'd definitely go with the Tamashii, but as a pair of droids the two Sideshow's would look better together I think.

I agree. It'd be nice if the releases were staggered enough for my budget, 'cause if HT are going on the OT binge they appear to be pursuing I'll have a hard time keeping up with just the core characters from the first movie. I can happily pass on any versions from the second two films.

I know the sudden price surge is a concern, but considering SS is based in the US with higher labor costs, even just for their head office, it's surprising it's taken them this long to catch up to HT prices.

Sheesh, if this is $240 than what will a more complex figure be?

At these prices and the speed in which HT is kicking out OT I doubt I'll be able to keep up even with the few that I want. Man, I cant wait till I get those few figures so I can quit Hot Toys and Sideshow both.
