Seriously love the first one. Such a classic. Its one of the best comic book movies ever and I think its so underrated. Like it was so amazing ****!

Please do! I'd like to see them. I have the og playmates tmnt and the Classics turtles from recent years but nothing high end. Movie designs are the way to go i think for high end figures

Hi there. Forgive my ignorance as I am new to this site and to the world of statue collecting in general, but I had a few questions about the Leonardo comiquette I recently picked up and this seemed like the right place to ask.

I'm concerned about his right foot, specifically where it meets the base. I've read one online review where the owner pointed out that a good amount of filler was used to secure him to the roof, which is fine, but on my example it looks like there are gaps where the foot doesn't touch the base at all. From other angles, it looks like this spackle-type material has flaked off or was just applied inconsistently. His other foot looks fine to me.

Basically I was just curious if others have noticed anything similar, and if you feel this kind of thing is a normal factory imperfection or a more serious defect. I did find that one of the official photos actually has a white substance kind of creeping out from under one of his feet. So is this normal? Any thoughts would be appreciated, and sorry for all of the images. Thanks!

Thing is most of them have some type of tiny minuscule flaw if you look for them. Some stand out more then others. Just prepare yourself mentally because if you look for the slightest sign of imperfection you'll most likely find it and then this becomes a super stressful hobby instead of an enjoyable one.

There's a guy on the forum that used to call SS about dented brown shippers. .... you don't want to be that collector.

Got it. I come from a vintage MOC figure collecting background which can become a horror for the same reasons. Thanks for the welcome & tips.

I threw out a price and bought all 4 turtles at the same time, only to be disappointed that one out of all 4 turtles came damaged. And that was Raph.

Why would sideshow make all the turtles with detachable accessories and headbands except for Raph? Its beyond me. So now Ive been searching everywhere for a Raph and none to be found. But here's my picture before I sent Raph out to USPS for inspection. I just stuck his sai in there by the base and was able to leave it without it falling off.

I have everyone including Shredder and Mouser and now I have this OCD itch because of an empty space on my shelf.

You get detachable headbands on Leo, Donny and Mikey because the Ex gives you two options to display and you need to swap them somehow. The regs all have fixed headbands and because Raph's bandana is red regardless, so does he. Making them detachable or not had nothing to do with shipping purposes.

Who's the artist. I think its the same artist I got a signed LE print from last Fan Expo. Sad thing is its sti sitting in the tube it came in
