1/6 2014 a big year for SW sixth scale.

Hadn't really thought about it, but I'm in for 7 of those releases. Still, I'd say the pace is OK because it's unlikely next year will be as packed with must-have releases like Vader and Grievous. Also, unless they release the IG-100s, I won't be buying any PT. This year, they hooked me with Grievous and the Battle Droid Commander since I want the hologram, but that's as deep into the PT as I'm getting (aside from the aforementioned IG-100s).

We don't know anything about Sideshow, no, only Hasbro and other publicly traded companies that have issued press releases and SEC filings. WRT Sideshow, we only have history to reference - a good ongoing relationship with Hasbro as far as we can tell (lots of licenses), plus they're by all accounts, the biggest of the collectible producers around, with the most reach and, IMO the biggest following. I wouldn't expect anything to change here either.

A Veteran Clone is as far as I'll get into the PT/EU. And then only because the Phase 2 bucket has Stormtrooper-like elements.

I've gotten Vader, and pre-ordered Luke and the tauntaun. Loving the Grevious but am waiting to pull the trigger until if/when my bonus and next month's commission comes in. I just got back from Disneyland with the family and I'm feeling a little light in the pocket right now.

Why they havent done a Biker Scout and a new classic Stormtrooper is beyond me! The Biker Scout would've been the perfect way to celebrate the 30th anniversary of ROTJ last year, and they desperately need a new Stormtrooper with newer body and armour technology!

Since belts and pouchs are configured differently for each Jawa. I am hoping for SSC to go for some true authenticity as in tailoring the figures after specific Jawas. That fella holding the fan behind Jabba would be good.

I'll have some "Desert Scavengers" for sale soon-ish, just finishing them up. Not sure how a Sideshow produced Jawa would compare, but these will be very good. Real leather and real metal accents which I'm sure a mass-produced figure probably wouldn't have. And fur, can't forget the fur. Adjustable in height from 7.5" to almost 10" too - great for a little tribe.
