Overall I really like this figure. I know it has it's drawbacks but all and all a very solid looking figure. Here is my review vid on him.

If you want to use the sculpted Crow forearms, you need to break them off the body and hollow them out slightly. Then cut the BL body just below the elbows and fit them on. It wasn't that hard, but it's still major surgery! :lol

Do the Crow forearms not come right off? They actually have to be broken?

It doesn't look ugly at all, if you do it carefully there is nothing to hide at all, but it is major surgery. I had to twist them back and forth then "crack" them at the joint, the joint between the edge of the sculpted wrap and the actual arm I mean. You won't be able to pull the whole forearm off at he elbow joint and fit it to a BL body. They don't fit. If you pull the black shirt off to the arm wraps you will see how it's constructed. The fabric is glued under the edge of the wrap section. But the wrap section IS the arm at that point, it doesn't come off.

I see. Not sure what I'll do with the forearms, but a body mod of some kind is a must. Even if it's just using the BL forearms while he's wearing the trench.

sorry for the low quality pics, just messing around. I really like how you can pose him however you want and it doesn't feel like I am gonna break him.

I suppose once you get the shirt free you could make up your own tapewraps on the other body?

Yeah, that's definitely the way to go if you don't want to go through the hassle of swapping the forearms. Black industrial tape would do it cut in thin strips. I did it so I could extend the arms a little. Once you put the Crow head on the BL torso with Crow legs, the BL arms look a little short and disproportionate. So you can extend them by using the Crow forearms and have an invisible seam. But I was probably just being a bit to **** about it! :lol

This is a very underrated figure, I will pick it up as soon as sideshow has a new code.

Took the wiring out the coat and painted the lips.

Nice job Para!

Do you do repaint commissions by any chance? =)

Finally picked up this figure!

Overall it's a great release, and I am pleased with all aspects of the figure. To me the teeth don't stand out at all in person, and the hair falls to a good length. My only complaint is that my particular figure shoulders were extremely tight and I thought it was going to break when adjusting him.

I would give this release an 7 out of 10. Solely on the basis that it's the type of release that doesn't come with much, and it's rather basic in its colors, materials etc. Much like the HT Kevin Flynn release. Great figure but outside the sculpt and minor details not too much bang for your buck. This should have been priced well under $200.

I was able to get this from an ebay retailer the other day for $195 misb with free shipping. I live in CA and ordering from SSC wouldbe cost me $247 with tax and shipping!!

I want one but I don't know where to put him... he doesn't really fit with anything else in my collection.

He doesn't fit with anything in my collection either but I still got him.

A collection should be about and have a connection to its owner, whether it's a reflection of your love for one thing or many different things. If you think a piece belongs there, then it does and you should get it. Who knows, it might set your collection off in a new and awesome direction.
