My display area is usually in the dark brown colors and for me the white pops more to the eye ,it doesn't get lost in my cabinet.I wish they had made one color and the ex should have been a change of hand and desicions like this will have been more easy.

^agreed. Picking the ape color is tough. Hard to choose unless you see them side by side in hand. Even then it would be tough. I went with the black version since its the EX so less made. If the white would have been the EX I'd have chosen it.

Thank you all for your tips and help... I'm gonna pull the trigger on the white one as I have darker displays (since I'm buying to keep ES shouldn't be an issue) I will be sure to post some pics once I have this beauty in my house!

Thank you all once again and I look forward to joining the Conan Fury of the beast club!

You won't regret it. It is by far my favorite statue!

Thx...is this bigger than the halo PF? I have my mc on a pedestal and may need to put this beast on it if it's bigger

I went with the Black, and was lucky enough to get 8 of 250. Problem, the peg hole narrows and the statue won't fit in. Anyone have this problem? Suggestions? I've had this issue on other smaller statues, and there was loose or soft debris inside. This time, there isn't anything loose and the hole is pretty solid and strong. Suggestions are much appreciated.

BTW, the issue has already been brought to SS attention, so no need for "contact sideshow" comments.

Thanks

I will say it was not easy to put this dio together given both it's size and weight. I has someone help me when I did it and is seemed to go together relatively easy.

I know that Wolf-Brother posted some advise after issues he'd had...

Good news, after five tries I finally got it to seat flush! :clap I placed the left foot down first and that helped line up the peg properly and it went right in so if anyone is having trouble getting it to seat flush try that. This piece has detail for days!

I honestly thought mine was defective when I was trying to put it in the peg for the first time. It was so damn hard because its so heavy and awkward. Plus I didn't want to break my $500 dollar statue. Then at the right angle, it magically slid in. BTW I was sweating at the end of it lol.

Also, my wife the other night asked me, " you're not going to sell this are you?"
It's a keeper!!!!
And so is she!

I want this piece so bad... But it is a case of just not having enough room.

Find room Bro! Dont miss out on this great statue. At least try to see one in person, if you haven't already. Then make a decision before The Beast sells out!

It's all about getting it at the right angle. Until I tried it this way I was getting frustrated as well as sweaty and tired. I did it myself but if you can get help do it. Let us know how you made out sash.

Don't let this stop you. I though I didn't have room either. It got here, I spent an hour figuring out where I could put him. He is now solo on a display table that I had to bring in, but now I'm sooo happy!!

Master Chief was awesome too. Seems like SSC is more or less on a roll now. Hopefully this streak continues.

But yeah, Fury of the Beast is everything I love about statues. Great sculpt, great paint and great art.
