Ah right!, I just stripped the figure down again and carefully tried bending the knee back, I got stress marks in the plastic before anything actually "locked", I can see where the joint is suposed to maybe swivel but there's very little actual movement. Could it be that the joints have locked? It doesn't look like anything is broken or has been glued (I bought the figure from a collector that had only ever had it on display),

It's in near new condition! I have the Snake Eyes with Timber pack which seems to have really nice ratchety knees, seems to be a huge difference in the legs atleast between those 2 figures?

I've spent half an hour getting the figure looking a bit neater, got the 2nd belt to hang nicely with the Han Solo style lowslung holster, all seems nice, I can see what you mean about things coming unstuck easily though :)

Put the body in the freezer for half a hour or so then move the knees.

It's too puffy and sewed asymmetrically. Maybe just mine tho... :lol

Prolly a snafu piece. :lol

Factory hood is soooo bad I can't find words to express it...
This and awful body are the only serious issues.

The only thing I dont like about the hood is how red it is & the way its cut around the bottom but his armour hides that.
Far as the body goes the knees are a bit **** but posable enough to display & his arms look pretty good.

Thanks for the help! I can confirm that the knees are now moving alot more freely, I put the body in the Freezer for half hour, then with a flat butter knife seperated the knee and sprayed rubber lube carefully over the joint, after drying it off the lower joint moves nicely, the top has some movement but I can get the leg to bend all the way humanly possible :)

Yea some of those Joe comic artists were awful.

So true. It's a shame- GI Joe outsold X-Men, Spidey, etc for a long time. But Marvel eventually just let crap artists work on it, and when the whole late-80's McFarlane/Liefeld/Lee "style" hit, everyone had to ape it. Nearly made the last issue (155?) unreadable. Poignant story by Hama, cruddy artwork by a nobody.
