Vader looking at his helmet is the pose that tells the story about this piece and it looks great, IMO.

Yeah, I love the reflection that Vader is having in that moment.

Well, I'm feeling a little foolish for ordering this piece before we knew about fist-gate. The only bright side is that my final payment isn't scheduled until February. Maybe they'll have fixed things by then?

They change it now for the rest of them and us poor first batch people get the lame and useless $25 off coupon or ever so helpful "you can send it back for a full refund." I guess if they do change it I'll send this one back and reorder later when the corrected wave hit.

We'll see what Sideshow does about it, but there still is a lot to be happy about here unless the fist arm is an absolute deal breaker for you.

All of the paint app is flawless, even on the wrong arm. We got two really great face sculpts without crazy lazy eyes. It is difficult to see in pictures but they did a great job making the skin look realistic too.

I'm hoping they will send out the proper fist arm, but I couldn't be happier with the statue in how I chose to display him (Sebastian Shaw head looking at his mask).

With an edition size of 5000 and no exclusive bonus, returning and re-ordering might make a lot of sense if they won't simply send you a corrected arm.

Well see what they say. I know they had to send out the Sandperson PF Exc item later but that was what was supposed to be included in the first place not something they had to redo and I can't think of any time they "corrected" a piece and sent it out to everyone so I won't expect a new arm anytime soon.

Is there a seam in the wrist area of the fist arm and saber arm? If there is, then yes, the factory glued the wrong hand on. If there isn't a seam, then the same mold was used for both arms and I highly doubt we would ever see the prototype fist pose from SS.

It really sucks that they got that arm wrong. It makes one of the arms pointless.

Honestly I never thought the arm with the lightsaber looked very natural anyway.

What these pics nicely show though is how jarring the orange is below the belt. The waist up pics here look like a normal ol' Vader for the most part and then, bam, orange glow.

I think the glow effect is very well made, much better painted than most of us expected from the production pieces. These are Mythos pieces, they are supposed to be special and 'alternative'. However if you don't like the glowing Vader, you shouldn't buy the Mythos but either the PF or wait for a (hopefully) new PF.

The overall piece came out fantastic but sucks that the fist'd hand got all messed up for you guys. That's just not even right. Bunch of bull since you all paid a lot to get it but Sideshow likes to cut the corners and mess up. I really do want this but i'll wait a while to see what happens with the fist'd arm if it gets fixed or not.
