you havent seen the movie yet. the base will make sense once you do. just watch the trailers, massive destruction in the city like Avengers did. the base is good.

I don't have a problem with this statue, but I think the only movie premium formats I would buy are '89 Keaton/Nicholson and Nolan Bale/Ledger. Other than that I'm sticking to comic premium formats.

Yes, but to me this pose gives me the impression he is about to fly. In which case it looks perfectly fine. Don't get me wrong I like both poses, I just think the bashing on this one is unwarranted. And overall I think this one is much more interesting to look at.

It's hard to be certain of liking it or not without it being in front of you, many have been the times that a piece surpasses my expectations upon arrival, so no bashing on my part it's just my first impression that I find the pose to be uninteresting, my final decision will be based on different factors so I don't know if I'm buying yet.

I was all set to order but hit the brakes. I will order sometime in the next few days most likely, but not in any rush given open ES and no EX. The pose looks awkward, the base looks uninspired, and the paintjob and photos don't seem to be doing the piece any favors. I'm sure I will be happy with it once in the collection.

I am also wondering why there is no close up shot on the head sculpt.

I won't hammer on this before I see inhand pics. I know a lotof guys hate the Capt movie statue, but like I said I have it and I LOVE it. I will probably pass on this, but not because I hate it, because I have other things I want more

Kind of a legit question only becaus Bmutha said he hoped he didn't regret ordering it. He was questioning his own purchase before Khev did. If you think about it, if you are afraid you won't like the movie, wait one day.... Can't see this selling out in on day. We have now gone to an anti hype stage here.....lol

This looks great but I have to save my wallet for con. Who knows what goodies await us. If this movie blows my socks off and I need to sell my first born then so be it. Who knows. Can't wait to see it.

Lol, the pose is saying, "Hey, stop that or I'm gonna punch you in the FACE!" I like it...it's not bad at all, but then again, this is the proto. I agree with the pose, it's generic as hell. You can tell SS rushed to get this out and hype it up before the movie. It doesn't seem like there was any thought or creativity put into it. It's like they needed a quick pose, so they used the one similar to Captain America. A quick base, so they used rocks. And then slapped on a bendable fabric cape, instead of sculpting one. I wonder how long it really took for them to whip this up and get it out.

Didn't they leak the Reeves PF way before this one was even out and then placed on preorder? Hopefully they're taking their time and being more creative with the Reeves PF seeing as he's not out for preorder yet.

Like I said, I like it and it's not bad, but it's not enough for me to buy it...right now at least. If I had to get it now, the only reason would be to pair it up with a future Bale Bats PF. But I'm more than happy pairing up the comic book versions instead, as their looks and costumes are platinum in my eyes.

Dude, the cap statue is a SLEEPER!!!! I admit pictures look sloppy but in hand total different story Could be the same here. We all know GL looked at first and how wonderful and misleading SSs pictures can be.
