Hey guys,

Finally finished my Bane. This figure is awesome, I was having second thought of buying him but finally glad I pre-order him.

Here it goes.

I'm using HT Odin's body for mine, I was thinking of transfering the upper body for the scar but decided no to go for it since it is not going to be visible. So I have my bane body mint back in it's box in case I decide to make another version of him .

The pants I got from Snooks, thanks Jen . I decided to re-work the color, I like it to be more dark grey and blue on the shin.

Finally, I made my own custom boots. I dry brush the two tones (very thin layers), then looking at the photo reference I notice Bane's shoes are so dirty as if it almost looks black. So I make some ashes from burnt tissue and paper and smear it on to the shoes . Added some rivets to the lace cover.

Wow! He looks dead one! Congrats!

No, not of rubber. This is a piece of plastic that I cut off from the plastic bucket in my office =)

Sorry I just had to do that. Btw apart from drybrushing the armored parts of the vest silver I've also given his stock trousers a black wash that has helped his look tremendously. Still need a good camera to pick it up.

I never heard of it, I had to look it up. Expensive figure. Rubber body I take it? Are the clothes hard to futzed? I know it is on the cmtoys body.

yeah it's a rubber figure. bought loose. a bit more than I should have spent, but am happy with it over all. Futzing can be a challange, but Not too bad. getting the old rubber bodies to stand and look natural is my biggest issue. bottom half doesn't seem to "stand" in a "relaxed" pose without a lot of tweaking. They always seem "stiif". lack of hip articulation.

I know what you mean. The cmtoys body is like that. I'm sending it back and getting a slim to switch out my Medix body. He needs it more anyway.
