It looks like they shipped this. I got an email from fedex which is weird since I've never had Sideshow ship me a package via fedex in all my years of collecting. It's always been UPS up until now.

Just wondering, does anyone use the CODEC sound as their ringtone for the cell phone?

Or the guard alert sound when they receive text messages?

Cause I do, or did, sort of, well not the text message guard alert sound.

I do, for over 5 years now I guess. Funny thing is that I've never heard a perfect rip of the Codec tone, the all sounded harsher than the one in-game so I decided to rip my Metal Gear Acid soundtrack and make one myself. Till this day friends are asking for mine because of the sound quality.

I used to use the "!" as a text notification, but it's not pleasing to hear when you're about to go to bed. So my text sound now is the Drebin points sound when Old Snake picks up an item, and my notification sound is the "save completed" sound in MGS4.

Damn USPS! Damn them to hell!

I waited all day for my *****ing package, I called them at 4:30pm to ask them where it was. They said the driver attempted to deliver it and had left a notice. I told them that that was BS, seeing as I was home all day and there was absolutely no notice on my door.

I asked them if I could go pick up my package directly at the post office. They told me my package would be at my local office.

I went to my local office, they said they did not have my package, and would not until tomorrow (Saturday). I then asked where my package could/would be. They said it went back to the parcel center.

I go home, it was 5:15. I called the parcel center. They said the parcel was never scheduled for delivery today in the first place..WTF? And that they would attempt to deliver it tomorrow, or I could arrange a pick up at 8am.

Seriously frustrating. I was super excited, wasted a whole day... Sorry guys, was hoping to get the video out

Sorry I haven't keep up on this piece, so sideshow already started shipping these?

The box is heat sensitive and reveals another image when exposed to heat. A friend of mine who got this last week told me and I find it a very cool feature for a box.

I got mine this morning! Just finished recording the review, am in the process of uploading it to YouTube. (The video has a really obnoxious bassy-background noise; due to my camera sucking).

But you'll get a good sense of the figure, and I also compare it side-by-side to the Medicom Naked Snake. It should be up in 90 minutes or so.

To summarize (while it's uploading):

PROS:
- Headsculpt is awesome in hand
- The suit looks great and feels pretty stirdy/solid
- Lots of accessories
- Great shelf presence


CONS:
- Hands are a pain to switch out and don't ever seem to want to fully stay on
- No relaxed hands, plus the 3 switch out left hands you get are all the CQC pose in a slightly different variant
- Not as poseable as most of us would like; can't get a proper CQC pose
- Figure is a little smaller than most of my other Hot Toys
- Where the hell is his cigar?!

Overall the cons do not outweight the pros, for sure. It's a great figure, and the gripes I have are pretty minor compared to how awesome it looks. I definitely recommend it!

I have one for him to use. I bought cigarettes, a pack of marbz, a zippo and a cigar. This way i can load up all my snakes with cancer kazoos. This is the only way theyd be happy. Its funny how in snake eater bb smokes cigars but in pw bb prefers butts.

Sorry for the strange buzzing/reverb that kicks in a little over a third into the video, but my camera shortly died after finishing this video. So I suspect that there was an actual defect in the camera.

Anyway, I love this figure! Couldn't be happier. There are a few minor gripes, but I am definitely more than pleased.

BTW Ralph, the survival knife on the boot, the blade should go down completely into the sheath with that brown loop wrapping around the handle not the blade itself by the hilt. That will help you out with te odd appearance.
