Re: Hot Toys - DX - T2: T-800 (Battle-Damaged Version) 1/6-scale Collectible Figure

Very true, but to me this doesn't look much different from the final DX10 sculpt. If it came out as is, I would be fully satisfied with it. The DX10 sculpt came a long way from the proto.

Absolutely, final sculpt looks way, WAY better on the DX-10.
But this already does it as a proto.
only the wound and endo details need reworking as far as I´m concerned...

Re: Hot Toys - DX - T2: T-800 (Battle-Damaged Version) 1/6-scale Collectible Figure

1/4 vs. 1/6...less accessories then HT and the likeness on the 1/6 looks great to me. Plus the 1/4 will be double the money. So overall HT WINS!!

Thats a BINGO.

I was eyeballing the 1/4 EB BD version since I figured HT was going to drag their feet in doing a BD version of their own, but now that that cat if out of the bag, Im back on just sticking with 1:6.

Thank God. As this will be alot cheaper than the EB one.

tbf we dont know what the Enterbay one will be packing having said that though I just prefer 1/6 scale so Enterbay are really going to have to pull out all the stops for me to get theirs and Hot Toys (given Hot Toys is a certain purchase)

I'm really wondering if the Endo eye lights up... I would **** myself if there is a bulb in the BD head. :clap

Very true but regardless you know the cost of the 1/4 version is going to be way more. I don't know EB that well but we know now that HT will offer 2 head sculpts in this set which already makes it more worth it. I'm also with you on 1/6 collecting. I prefer it for a few reasons so this is a no brainer for me personally.

Re: Hot Toys - DX - T2: T-800 (Battle-Damaged Version) 1/6-scale Collectible Figure

To clarify I wasn't criticising the guys who are comparing. I mean after a certain amount of time has passed I'll probably start doing that just for something to do, but right now I'm just lapping up those pics.

Only negatives I can see at the moment are the jacket looks a bit bulky in some shots and no teargas launcher. Otherwise.....**** me what a figure.

EB wins for me

yeah for sure..but I really no need of 1/4 scale in my home...
so for me this new amazing dx is the best choice..
Ht has fooled nobody.. is only a week from the release of the dx 10 and the pics of this new dx is out already..
If think if the real intention of HT was ripp off our money, he would have done out the new pics after 2 months...or more
So now we have enough time to decide what dx is better to buy...
and I am confident Ht will correct that jaw before the release

Exactly and Amen to that, Brother Andrew.

Bu I think he doesn't.. he gains a lot of money working for himself already...:monkey2
