I have trouble believing Superman of all hero's would have trouble picking up Thors Hammer. Hello?!! "Truth, Justice and the American Way"

Nothing.
Thor himself comes across as morally flawed much more than Kal el and more often.
You haven't explained why Alex, you merely sight the event that he was unable to lift it.
That unworthy B.S. doesn't fly where Superman is involved.

It was a play on words. In the Film Enter the Dragon the guy he was about to fight tried to show off in front of Bruce by spliting a board in two. Bruce then said - "Boards...Don't hit back" And then Bruce goes on to kick his A**. Figured the same philosophy could be aimed at your Superman/ Planet tricks example

Not being a wise guy. Just wondering what made the Thor official and the Hulk not? I don't recall the Thor Superman meeting. I do remember WW picking up the Hammer in Marvel vs DC - Which to my knowledge is not official either.

Good lord man... Alright Thor's hammer, Mjolnir, has several enchantments. One of them is that no living being may lift the hammer unless deemed worthy by Odin. I also seem to remember a comic that explained that you must be true of heart.

Now, Superman did lift and use the hammer. Although he was unable to do the same later. Thor claimed Odin had briefly lifted the enchantment, which made it possible for Supermen to lift it. The ONLY other person in DC who was able to lift it was Wonder Woman. Wonder Woman would be worthy in Odin's eyes. Why? Because the gods are part of her mythology.

Superman said that "hulk surprised him with his strength but this time he would be ready" Superman used all his might to be an unmovable object. The hulk smashed away. But the comic said that the Hulk kept getting more angry and thus stronger thus it was begining to look like the outcome of this fight may be in doubt. Superman then used his x ray vision to see the reason for hulk anger (a sonic devise in his ear) and superman removed it.

So It seems to me that Superman got bested once because he was surprised and a second time because he used all his strength to become imovable but the Hulks strength just kept growing to the point it looked like Hulk might become to much for even superman to handle.

There is also the old Comic where Huk breaks Supermans grip and throws him into space.

Just about. Superman is like one huge battery full of solar energy. There are two ways to weaken him... Kryptonite or exhaust him to point that all the energy is gone. Doomsday did the later of the two.

Hmmm. Funny. Kryptonite does not effect Hulk and He does not get exhausted so his energy goes down. His energy just goes up the longer a fight goes on soooooooooooooo Hulk Wins
