Would be a great (and very smart) move on EB's part! I wonder what it retails for. I hope it's official I JUST opted out of getting the body and shoes parted out yesterday to ship with the full reg. set. It would have cost an additional 110 bucks.. hope this costs less!

EDIT: I see it as 133.. hmm maybe i should have got those spares after all?

Hmmm is there pair of black socks to go with those shoes? If not, then it's another snufu from enterbay... I can't have a complete figure without the socks...

I received one of the ebay off-colored joint body recently, and it seems identical in quality with the official body. The joints are very unsightly tho when displayed. I wonder if these were Enterbay production batches that were deemed "defective" because of mismatched joint color, and they wholesaled it off at a cheaper price?
That's definitely possible, you can't put anything passed anyone nowadays!
I understand what you're saying. I personally have no qualms about buying recasts, because it's a cheap way to do kit bashes and repaint projects. You don't really wanna use original heads for that.Which body are you getting?
Agree 100%. Atm, I'm waiting on an official 2.5 BL body to finish off my FoF display (calm sculpt, white outfit).
Has anyone seen this that has just been listed on eBay - I am not sure if this is an official release… If it is then I wonder if Enterbay will soon listing this set on their web site. Btw, smart move to have the additional shoes enclosed in this body set release.
Awesome, looks pretty legitimate to me since it has the offical Enterbay logo on the bottom and looks like the shoes themselves have the official Enterbay stamp on the interior sole. Glad I have a pair PO'd already :yess:
I have mailed Enterbay Sales about this, I hope to have a reply in another 15 hours or so..
Axe always on top of things! :lol :hi5: :clap :goodpost:

:exactly: I am googling like a madman right now That is sooo cool shadowfla!!! Only if I can get a hold of those ETD a&b at some "reasonable" price.

Thanks a lot... I am waiting for the wod suit and the big boss suit...soon the pics with the costumes and the modified heads...:wave

The inclusion of shoes (maybe socks too) is a nice & needed addition. But what happened to the $60-$70 price tag that was discussed earlier? Perhaps it's because of the shoes :dunno

Maybe they figures that there's such a limited market for these bodies they have to (or are able to) charge a premium for them. With the BL bodies they were good for a lot of bashes as all the EB Bruce heads were compatible. Unless EB are going to make this a standard body for a bunch of other Bruce Lee releases, then the only people likely to buy this are those who bought the current GoD release - hence the spare shoes :dunno

I do not think the eBay seller who has listed this at US$133 (including free shipping) have the official price tag in the listings, and probably (or hopefully) if you get this body-shoes (with or without the socks ?) set directly from Enterbay it will be much lower (I am suspecting the price to be around US$60-65 [the shipping cost will be extra] though I have not yet gotten that price validated myself), so better wait and see what Enterbay does and when they are officially offering this through their web site or by e-mail. Btw, I know that Guo Bei sells the body, heads, diorama, shoes, suits. shoes with socks and all accessories separately now also Larry - so you could send him an e-mail of what you need, and see what he could offer you a good price (remember to mention about this body set and eBay price tag with free shipping in your inquiry in case he is not aware of it yet).

Let's hope Axe gets back to us today with a reply from Enterbay

The box is retailing in HK for HK$480 whch is US$61.50 so the price is as Enterbay had notified us earlier. The inclusion of the shoes and socks is great. However for a nude body (and the prices going up like crazy) its still expensive, I had contemplated buying a body to replace my stained one from the bracelet at the wrist and skin peel at the neck but decided against it as inevitably and eventually the body WILL stain from the clothes. and the rubber skin WILL eventually come apart in the distant future due to posing... or even weather changes

Thus a new repaint project... dilute acrylic layering almost like makeup foundation has made all the blemish on the bodies invisible... its difficult to get the right skin tone of the hand... but over 2 hours I did it... if you want to paint the body I suggest do the hands first as the material on them is different/feels different from the torso... also instead of applying thick pain try to use very dilute amounts of the pain to 'stain' the rubber... coating it in acrylic will make the acrylic harden later and peel off (with the skin maybe) but as long as you stain it, itll be fine... it took me from 12am to 3am to stain the parts properly with the paint. The results look great... atleast better than a black/yellow blemish (however I didnt paint over the stain on the biceps... only over the stains which were exposed)

Thanx for the update Axe !

Btw, be sure to take a before picture - so we could compare it with the after picture.

Thats kinda impossible now, I didnt really do it to demonstrate anything, so a before pic is impossible.. but you guys can surely understand what I did when I do post the pics

ALSO Enterbay mailed me back. I had initially told them that my body came stained in the box and I really didnt want a replacement as a replaced body will eventually stain when the suit is put on. But I was interested in the GoD extra body package, and posted those Ebay Pics of the body in package.
They replied saying that what I said is true, and if I put on clothes it WILL stain, however they can still send me a replacement if I want one. Also they said that the extra body was a legitimate release by them and will be availble on their online store very soon

In my mod update: I did the cotton wool crotch mod to lose sight of those ugly gaps between the thigh and crotch joints... the figure looks more realistic now... Its an old mod done by old GoD owners and it makes good visible difference, however please dont overdo the cotton and make Bruce look like he's packing like Shane Diesel...

Does that replacement they offer to send you mean you can get it without sending them your stained body back ?

About the cotton wool crotch thing you are working on now Axe: I just use the tip of my fingers on the suit and slightly stretch it - and then there is no visible gaps

No the replacement offer isnt just like that... I have to send back the stained body first...

I used to do it too initially but put in in a more leg apart pose and no matter how you stretch that ugly joint becomes visible, also any little movement on the figure's suit near the legs tend the suit to ride up and the joint is again there... so I finally put in the cotton to get rid of it permanently...

Thanks Axe, I'll wait for the official release from EB & see if GB will be selling them. Might save me on shipping if I can buy from him & get my fixed/replaced body, extra new body/bodies (with shoes), & 3rd head, all at the same time :D

Also, I now have the HT BL smiley. I was looking at both the EB & HT smileys & I was actually starting to prefer the HT smiley :chase :lol But I guess after the 'newness' factor faded a bit, I'd say the HT smiley would be, at least, on par (in the likeness department) to the EB smiley. I'm still not sure which smiley I think is better :D

Although, there is a pic of the EB smiley that looks more like BL (to me) then any other EB smiley pics posted here. Maybe not as popular as the donuts pic (I want some 1/6 donuts, I've already purchased 1/6 coke bottles because of a pic I saw on here :D ), but the likeness to BL in this pic (again, to me) is better. Maybe it has something to do with the darkness of the eyebrows & the shadowing on the cheeks :dunno

I seem to be in the minority when it comes to which head sculpts are more preferred :lol There's no accounting for taste :D

BD head FTW :hi5:

I just got in touch with a seller on eBay that might be able to do a custom 1/6 sized towel in any measurements for my Bruce. So in case anyone is interested then PM me and I will forward you to her. I was actually thinking of maybe getting two or three towels (if the seller does a good job and the price is right) - with one of the towels in the same Game of Death yellow colour and black stripes....

"...I make all my towels so if there is something special you would like, or a special measurement or a set of towels, please let me know...."

What do you guys think ?

I agree. Thats the best pic Ive seen of the smiley head...in terms of likeness to Bruce.

And yeah, BD head FTW!:rock

Well let me say that IMO the HT smiley IS better than the EB Smiley (Although they reference 2 different smiles) The HT IMO captures its moment better than EB does... honestly the EB smiley has taken some liberty with its reference, but that doesnt take away the fact that its a SOLID SCULPT!

Its ironic that you posted shadowfla's picture as the best as he apparently thinks quite low about the set in particular and is pissed at Enterbay for reasons known to him only, I wish his set problems get sorted out and let his situation be a warning for people buying from fishy ebay dealers with prices too good to be true. $320 EMS shipped to Italy is the best deal anyone can get on the board

As for you being the minority in which headsculpt being preferred? Well let me just say that the EB smiley is lying in its box and hasnt been taken out since the day I unboxed the figure, and you all know about my love fore the BD sculpt! here's some more pics to show it:

Also as Gung Fu wanted pics of me painting on my figure's neck and hands to hide the marks of the bracelet staining it and a large part of the skin on the neck had ripped off showing white rubber underneath the pink skin, thus making it look like as if Bruce has leucodermata in his neck... Im posting pics of the final job... the repaint isnt noticeable in hand much, and unless you're looking for it you probably wont see it...

first the neck: The skin in the left of the figure had peeled off exposing white rubber (dont have before pics but you can make out from the lack of skin in these high res pics)
dsc00723z.jpg

dsc00695lj.jpg

Ive painted it in a way that even with the lack of skin there is texturing, on display it isnt noticeable so Im happy

The hands had been stained by the bracelet and had like 2/3 ing like lack marks on the wrists... painted the wrists... and in a manner so that the change in colour the stock figure has from the palms to the hands (due to difference in material) is more a regular gradient

This painting IMO is safe, and I have already discussed the method I used to do it... it requires patience but will probably not damage the body...

Hehe I'm not seeing what you're seeing, but we all have different ways in which we see Bruce which just makes him so much more interesting to collect. As long as everyone who gets this set is happy with displaying 1 of the sculpts it's great for collector's, I hope we can lay to rest the 'which company is better' hoopla and just enjoy these figures for awhile :D

:peace
