They simply executed it poorly. It would have been nice to have the moving eye system, while still keeping the likeness that YJ's sculpt had.
Oh well. It's not like we're not going to see any more BL figures being made. Bruce Lee is EB's Iron Man

They could maybe have done it if they'd stuck with the previous design. The FOF head retained the likeness.

In light of Blitzway now having Arnie on their staff and them having Bruce products planned, maybe EB have decided not to bother.
They know full well they only ever did their best Bruces when he was in charge so maybe they've decided to concentrate on stuff their remaining staff are actually good at.

Wow, blast from the past. Lets celebrate one of the biggest screw ups in 1/6 hobbydem once again !
Enterbay Game of Death 1 :
Enterbay's very first product. Very very old and out of date by 'modern' standards, considering how much the hobby has moved in the last 10 years. Sculpt paints will look pretty awful compared to newer products.
Enterbay Game of Death 'Nokia' (2) :
Was a special release to coincide with ...I can't even remember, a Nokia event? A specific phone? Doesn't really matter....
It had a much better sculpt on it (reused from their Enter the Dragon set) but was missing the green bamboo and wooden backdrop from the first set.
Enterbay Game of Death 3: Behind the Scenes:
This was meant to be the ultimate set by Enterbay but they screwed it up in so many ways.
Their prototype body which they showed pics of for a year was jointless and though they said the final version would have joints, there was a lot lost in translation. And the material used was fragile, prone to scratching and breaking and the jointless elbow joints need to be kept unbent unless you want to destroy it.
They tried to put a new eye system in place which was faulty, warped the sculpt and was the worst overall Bruce head they'd done. As an apology they released a 3rd head to all inital buyers that came out a year later (and also packaged it and the prototype body together and called it a 'Black Label statue')
The 2nd smiling sculpt was pretty impressive though ...actually my favorite Bruce sculpt.
And the accessories were good.
So to answer? ..... no idea .... its still probably better building your own from ebay using the parts you want. There have now been so many variations that its not hard to buy individual parts to make your own 1/6 Game of Death Bruce and you'll end up with a better product for likely less than buying one complete box set....
Or just buy Blitzway's enormous 1/3 Game of Death statue which is freaking awesome.
