A little wip a scavenged together form Ebay.
Those hot toys BL bodies are really cheap now. The sculpt looks way better in person, at least better than on most pics (including mine).

I know it's the other way around, but then it does not look as good.

Yeah thats one of the things I said awhile back, I don't get the complaining about the price, sure Hot Toys are comparable in a lot of areas as a release such as this, and sure the HT Bruces are a lot cheaper, but this one you seem to get a TON of stuff. The dio, the chair, the camera, the WORKING USB LIGHT, the extra aesthetics such a the rice paper inserts, I haven't even gotten mine and I feel the price is where it needs to be. On a standard HT purchase, sure you get great quality as well but they don't come with a freaking COMPLETE DIORAMA SCENE, you're not overpaying for a 1:6 Bruce, you're paying for a 1:6 Bruce plus a fully functional base/dio which creates the atmosphere he's on the set filming, not just Bruce standing on a plastic stand.

I know this is a generalization, but I have found that SOME people will complain about a piece just because THEY cant afford it, so they find a reason to hate it. I'm no saint, I have found myself doing this in the past, wanting something but couldn't afford it so I found reasons to not like it. Again, just an observation.

All that aside, you guys are killing me with the photos, I hope Viking Playground gets their shipment soon, I CANNOT WAIT to get mine. Did ALL of these get recalled, or did some make it to retailers stateside?

Totally agree with you Corrose. Most of the most rabid Negative Nancies on the EB FB page - if you read their prior posts; have already decided either they won't or can't afford it. They also start off whining about the price - then gradually as better pics come out grow to whining about how the figure isn't worth the money.

Question is: why are they still whining about a figure they are already not getting? Answer: because they actuallly do want it but can't afford it. Party poopers

What a freakin disaster.. this might bury enterbay, at this point with all the recalls and defects it will be very hard for them to make a profit.

The new pics... i dont mind what I see... still sub par to hot toys in paint and sculpt refinement. it looks a little plasticy. Nice likeness though.

I'll stick with Nokia... still think it's better overall... Just looks too sleepy.

Huh? I don't get how Rory's new pics and his overall comments of his INHAND GoD can lead you to come to the conclusion (or any closer to the conclusion) that this is a disaster. I'm actually getting the opposite sense - that the tide is swaying the other way.

More great pics coming so - it's only gonna get worse if this is not what you want to see. Two of these babies arriving soon

The smiling sculpt IS NOT sub par to the HT release in terms of paint and sculpt refinement.
Seriously guys try to be objective. I'm neither a HT fanboy nor an Enterbay obsessive.
I just like 1/6th collectibles.

There is so much blind hate going on here for Enterbay its become pointless to even discuss.

Actually - the HT smiley has less paint when compared next to the EB. And the eyes on the EB are somehow more lifelike. There's a glint of BL's cockiness there that the HT doesn't have. Also - HT's decision to put in the little dents in the cheeks for the glasses sort of knocks the resemblance to BL down a couple notches from Arnie's original sculpt.

Both are awesome sculpts - but honestly think the EB is better.

Also - notice in these pics - how detailed the lips are on the EB as compared to the HT. The HT looks sort of too simplified. I like how the top lip on the EB is sculpted - there's personality to it.

First thing I will say is that I completely get the high cost of this set now. There is just so much in the box. The wooden dio is beautiful.
It's engraved laser cut wood. With rice paper insets. Real, glued, sanded, varnished wood. The directors chair is wood, hinged real wood. There is a working usb studio light. etc etc. This is worth the cash in my opinion. Now the sculpt. I have gotten one with the Evision ball still in. It's not a great device to be honest, but i'm glad to have it now, as it is becoming collectible. I can see that I could take it out myself, very easily. Luckily my eyes seem fine though. I can see what Tinster was saying about the eyes shifting in transit, I think thats all the problem is, they are lose enough in the socket to fix easily, not worth sending back to enterbay unless its for the free head.

Congrats Rory and thanks for all the pics you took the time to post! Glad to see that you got a good EX figure set with no problems, you deserve it!

Regarding Ray and few other posters moaning about the lack of properly lit and shot pics, well guys that will come later I'm sure, anyone who has just received this has taken a few snaps quickly and posted them on here because everyone has asked them to. A bit ungracious if you ask me, would you rather no pics?

Will it be EB chair and shoes - and what type of track suit have you used on your custom HT GOD in the picture ?

By the way, it is correct to have this figure displayed without shoes also - as I have seen pictures of Bruce at the set with the track suit and without any shoes. Just so you know.

Id actually tell you guys NOT to compare both the HS, because they both use different references...
The HT uses the WoTD reference where he's smiling in a warm friendly manner...

Whereas the GoD smile is his cocky taunting smile to Dan Inosato's character

Arnie's sculpt is perfect for that reference, YJ's is great but takes some artistic liberties to NOT make it that scene specific but retains the main spirit of the smile... Overall Im happy that I made the right choice by sticking to my GoD, and believe that the HT Movie Icon Bruce is the best likeness I have seen till now in 1/6th scale

The sculpt is not "sub par" to HT by any stretch. It accurately depicts a totally different looking Bruce from a different film altogether. Try paying attention to that detail b/c it is not small.

The paint on the smiling sculpt looks like it blows the smiling HT sculpt away, not even sure how someone could claim otherwise.

Overall it sounds like you just want to take a dump on this b/c it's EB, if it were an HT product you'd be stroking their ego claiming this is the best thing since sliced bread for certain.

I never even heard there was an EX version. Glad I canceled my PO when I did so I'll be able to hunt an EX down in the future

To be honest if I didn't like a figure, I may say it once but I wouldn't keep going on & on about it & just leave it to the ones who enjoy it. Some of the pictures of this figure were a joke, from the posing, lighting ect no figure would of looked good, including the HT Bruce Dx which I love but were finally getting to see some proper photos coming in & this figure is looking pretty impressive. If this was made by Hot Toys I'm sure there would of been a complete different reaction to this. HT is my by far my most collected brand so in no way am I taking a dig at them but I like to mix it up a bit occasionally & appreciate what other makes have to offer time to time. Phew, now let's see some more in hand Pic's to keep me going until I get mine

wow! i was thinking of posing my GoD (when it finally arrives i mean) in exactly the same manner as in the scene you mentioned! provided i can get the feet angled correctly, tried with a BL3.5 but just doesn't look right.

wow! i was thinking of posing my GoD (when it finally arrives i mean) in exactly the same manner as in the scene you mentioned! provided i can get the feet angled correctly, tried with a BL3.5 but just doesn't look right.

Its difficult as most of the weight of the figure is shifted towards the front and the only thing thats there to balance it is the point of the bamboo stick... but Im sure with proper futzing it can be done. Watch the angle of his legs when the camera follows the bamboo downwards...

You should do your homework a little better before making accusations. I've had some harsh criticism for HotToys. more than any other company I'd say. And equally as passionate praise for them when I feel it's warranted. And if you;d bothered to read any further I said I own a lot of enterbay figures that I think are great. In fact my vote for head of the year is actually an Enterbay head.

The sculpt has more detail? Take a picture then and prove it. Either no one knows how to work a camera.. or it's not there. just look at the eyes, they lack refinement. Could be blurry/grainy pics...

It looks plasticy, not much more to say than that. The heads are obviously made out of plastics, and depending on the kind of plastic it will show it. Hot Toys for example have revised the kind of plastic they use that have moved leaps and bounds past this, if you look back to a figure like Two Face and put it next to Wolverine, Wolverine does not look plasticy. I see that effect in the shots of these heads. It looks dated in that respect. judging from poor pictures alone.

I still am not saying I don't believe that the heads look great in person.. I don't have them or have not seen them, I haven't seen any impressive pictures though and I'm sure when more get this they will do it justice but no one's delivered as of yet.

saw a picture on bbts of the GoD Bruce holding the clapper board that reads "死亡的游戏"

shouldn't it be just "死亡游戏" or was that the original name during production? any idea?
