I'd like to say yes, but it's already been said that they don't have the rights for the film and it seems like they kinda blew their Lee wad already releasing 3 figures almost back-to-back and two with the same headsculpt. I hope that's not the case but who knows? :huh

I think EB has exclusive rights for the film, as in 1/6 rights

what GOD costume would you guys recommend? I don't know much about them, but I heard about color running problems with one of them.

That's what a few of us have done now, and all I can do is admire the custom suit while whistling happily about the spare 300 bucks I now have :)

Hey LJ which GOD suit did you end up getting? I saw you mention a custom off Ebay but not sure if you bought it or were waiting on the EB suit. :lecture

Yeh, I ended up picking this one up:

I'm very happy with it - I certainly don't look at it and feel like I have an inferior knock-off, it holds up really well on the shelf. This set has the EB sneakers, which I'm also happy with. Nam says he prefers the molded ones. I've used this seller before and they're solid :)

I am not sure if it has been mentioned in this tread, but Enterbay pre-sold an exclusive "Beijing Exhibition Version" of this new Game of Death figure during the Beijing Exhibition back on May 1st., and if I am not mistaken this release was limited to only 300 sets and the figure came with an extra pair of jeans and a t-shirt (both for the figure), plus an extra figure holder - plus a movie clip board when you pre-ordered this limited set at the Beijing show (not sure if you would get it if you didn't). I am not sure about the price - but this Beijing Exhibition version is already sold out now. Not sure if it will come out with an exclusive art work on the package either...

A pair of jeans is visible here in these pictures (as posted previously in this tread) - but I am not sure if this is the exact jeans Enterbay will add in this release:

The flesh color in the first pic is way too white and frecky... the head sculpt looks way darker... what a disaster

Lejuan, I am assuming you are aware of the hand made bracelet is not right ? (not sure if I have asked you this before...) Just so you know Mate

Yeh, it is the one part of this set that is dodgy - it looks like some sort of spring washer - but for the money it doesn't bother me. Interesting that the N96 GoD bracelet appears to be very different from the regular GoD bracelet:

N96:

Regular:

...I can't recall seeing the N96-style bracelet in the movie, but it's been years since I watched it.

That's the Enterbay suit. Pick up one of the generic suits on ebay and you'll be fine.

Thats not correct, the custom ones stain too... in the case of Lejuan faster than the EB ones. Check his pics of the custom suit on the figure on the EtD DX04 or HT/EB Bruce Lee line thread, and the black stains they left on the body in 3 days only...

All Hot Toys and Enterbay toys should be displayed naked to avoid staining.

Only way to be safe.

Plus as a bonus, people that come to your house will now look at you even more strangely than they currently do when they see your collection :rock

:lol I guess myself and Pix must've gotten anomalies then. Neither of ours have stained and they're both the same suit from the same place.

I think its more to do with the EB BL vinyl body THAN the suit itself. That body soaks up the loose suit dye probably. Have you guys put the suit on your HT Bruce? The HT Bruce body and the EB body are mad of different materials... so maybe thats why... also... staining from EB clothes take time, couple or month or so... God Forbid one day you check your HT body and remove the custom clothes to find dark lines running through it...

I suspect that this is the case too - the irony for me is that I put the suit on the EB body first to see if it would stain, before putting it on the HT body. The likely story is that had I put it straight onto the HT body I wouldn't have had any staining at all :cuckoo:

Nah, it would've rubbed getting the suit over the elbows, etc., and left evidence on the screw plugs too since those suck up bleeding color like a siv. Makes me wonder, despite the high price tags for these figures, if EB doesn't cut corners here and there to maximize their profits. Sad thing is, even with the wooden dio and tidbits this piece comes with, I'm still hard pressed to see why it's costing as much as it does when compared to the exclusive DX and all the jazz that came with.

Maybe that customised/exclusive individually numbered tag? You cant justify what price a company places at the end of the day... also they are making a profit so OBVIOUSLY the production cost is less. Anyway this is actually 'cheaper' than some of their previous 'deluxe' releases :slap

The original GoD,Fist of Fury all cost more than this... So Im sure those who have owned previous EB BL sets know how expensive EB are... I believe when the 'seamless' proto was shown and all that stuff was shown people were speculating it might hit $400

The DX throws at us the most unbelievable kit for the coin I can think of - and for those of us lucky enough to pick up the exclusive even more so. Historically - ie compared with other EB releases - the EB GoD is priced ok. It's just that HT have evolved - theirs is an aggressive and competitive business model - and EB is stuck in an age where collectors didn't have much by way of choice.
